The chromecast is easy to install in less than 10 minutes and is more reliable than my Blu-ray player. If I stream Netflix through the Blu-ray player, the video and audio are often out of sync. This never occurs with the chromecast.

Received a gift cert so I decided to buy the chrome to see what it is about. I have a roku and a smart tv but curiosity just had the best of me. Somewhat easy to get started with your smart phone...little more time and patience if you have a Mac. Basically, it only works with ease with hbogo, Hulu, and netflix. That is it. Timewarner app does not work with it and if you try to go the long way through chromecast...you may lose audio and a delay on the feed.

Great product to stream free TV online. Easy to set up and easier to function. Used it for a few weeks and no problems. Sound and screen quality are pretty good. The only problem is the lack of apps supported but I assume that will change.

Was persuaded into buying the chromecast and it has been excellent. I hook it up through my tv and even my xbox one. I really recommend people to buy this. You won't be let down.

Does what it is supposed to do. Although the Roku has more app availability, this has has just as much if you know what apps to download. Great device, especially for the price.

For the price, this is a no brainer. This makes watching media from your laptop, tablet, or pc a breeze. Easy to set up and use. It flaked out on me a couple of times, but it was solved with a reset

I bought it originally thinking I could just look at my pictures and videos from my computer directly on the tv. I didn't realize I had to upload them to a cloud site first so it is not worth the trouble. It is nice for streaming netflix
