Chromecast works great to stream TV shows from a laptop to a TV.

Phonecasting works ok but you still need wifi. Wont work with 4G internet only from phone. Needs to load the app over wifi then you can screencast from your phone. Was hoping it would work for an internet via phone only household. It didnt

Easy to pair with cellphone, laptop, and tablet. Good apps. When used with laptop, there were lags. Can't use chrome app to mirror on ipad mini.

I have no complaints. It always seems to work when I turn on tv.

I have wifi in my house but my tv was not wifi ready. Internet cabling was not near the tv. The chromecast enabled me to get wifi. I did not have to have any professional assistance to connect. Love it. Now have netflx and pandora.

Purchased the Chromecast stick for its price point and ease of use. Very pleased with how it integrates with our tv. You just have to get used to using your phone or tablet as your remote.

I really enjoy the Chromecast. We have a 'smart' TV, but this makes it SO much more simple to watch our videos and Netflix as well as to surf the web. I await more compatible programs and apps.

Great little toy, especially for the price. Casting from your Chrome browser via a PC works pretty well. Its fun having a cast fight with another member in the household. iOS support is minimal. Just netflix and youtube. There is not the ability to cast your browser from iOS (at least not yet). You of course also cannot stream content stored on your PC to the device yet. Hopefully that gets added in soon enough. If it had those two features added in, id say its a 5 star device. However without those features, it gets 4 stars. Depending on your network security wifi setup may not be plug and play. Was able to resolve my issue by using a mixed mode for wifi security (WPA/WPA2 mixed)

I got this little gadget as a birthday gift and it came in perfect specially for the summer when the TV shows are on reruns. I like the ease of being able to take it anywhere and I love how it plays the shows with great resolution.
