Most cost effective way to make a smart TV out of a dumb TV.

I am not a tech guy but am able to use this with no problem.

The best streaming device you can get for 35 dollars for sure. Great picture quality for the apps too. The screen mirror feature is a little slow but it's new so that's understandable.

I control TWO Chromecasts from ONE laptop!! REALLY COOL!!

Great for casting web pages. Easy to carry in a backpack. I really like being able to connect to a projector or flat panel without cables.

For 35 dollars it does the job. Streaming video works surprisingly well from my computer. It crashes sometimes, but it is still in beta mode. Needs more app support to make it a true value.

Great product. My son loves it. It is a very flexible item and e tre ely easy to set up and to use. The only problem is that to use it in mutiple locations requires restoring back to factory settings. It should be more flexible.

I got this thinking that I can share my personal recordings on the screen with this device but I was wrong. you can only stream online content and you better have good wifi speed & connection or it will constantly freeze on you.

I have had it since its release. Great product, delivers as advertised, only problem is the lagging when watching video from sources other than the approved apps. Easy to set up and use from SG4 phone. Go buy if you can find one.

I'm not into tech stuff at all, but this was easy for me to set up. Love streaming my videos instead of the old mailing....my son set up to use my phone as my remote...(I know)....but Chromecast is really great and worth the $$ ;)

The Chrome Cast device is a small wireless network streaming adapter. You can use your phone, tablet or even computer, to have a video stream coming into your home, office, etc., and display on your connected television. When using a phone or tablet, the device becomes the remote control and lets you play, pause, skip and switch to other videos to watch as you see fit. If you have multiple TV's with a Chrome Cast connected to each TV, you can start watching something on one tv, go into another room and have it start up exactly where you left off on a different tv. It's get better as more and more companies are adding Chromcast support to their video services.

Casting is the way to go. Beam from your phone to the tv flawlessly. Quick and easy. Whatever's on your phone can be on the big screen in an instant

When looking at HDTVs in the store, the sales associate educated us about the Chromecast devise. We use it to watch Netflix on our HDTV, no need for a smart TV for our use.
