Customer Ratings & Reviews

I a, m NOT going to begin to give a detailed review you can find those elsewhere. This thing is cheap and ultimately it does work. There are limitations so do your research. It's not very durable, setup is complicated, and it requires a myriad of other things in order to function. Like wifi Netflix or Hulu subscription a free HDMI port. Sometimes it doesn't do so good with the HDMI handshake, it won't work plugged into my tuner But directly into the TV its fine. I really like the handoff from the device to chromecast, no extra battery or processor usage on your phone or tablet. Have Even shut the phone off, and streaming has continued.

Easy to set up & use. Works very well & a must have.

Got it as a Christmas gift and it's been entertaining for the whole family. We have movie nights and watch sport events from the ESPN app. It's awesome for such a great price! It was easy to set up.

I love it it works great it does what it says it does.

I love it and it is handy to have and I recommend it

I would recommend this to anyone, it works really well

I got it for 27$! And its great! Perfectly working!

This product worked as expected. Was great as a gift.

The pick up process was seamless and quick. Thank you!

This is great for youtube streaming Very bad for online streaming for other media streaming, I watch lot of games from laptop and i see lot of streaming delay. sorry chormecast you are only good for your own siblings....

GREAT PRODUCT! SAVES LOTS OF MONEY ON MOVIES AND SUCH

this should be picked up on price alone. With 3 free months of netflix, this adapter is $11, noone comes near that price Excellent for on the go, if you end up at someones house and whether or not they have a smart TV, just pop this in and everyone can watch Youtube or netflix from your phone on the big screen. Downside is it's pretty much limited to that and chrome webpages. Upside is Cyanogenmod team is working on allowing anything to be broadcast over, so keeping an eye on that, it'll give you an even better ROI

Great device for such a reasonable price! Very easy to install, and very easy to use after watching YouTube instructional video.

Love it it's an awesome device to truly love it try it

Perfect , I totally recommend this over Roku........

My previous flatscreen lcd tv had a vga port w/ which I used to connect to my pc or laptop to be able to watch streaming videos from the internet. However, when I had to buy a new flatscreen lcd tv because the old one burned out, I found that it only had USB and HDMI ports. So I had a small predicament as to how to stream videos via cable or wires as my pc and laptop did not have HDMI ports and I did not want to use a USB port to be able to do so. I'm so glad that the Google Chromecast device let's me be able to stream videos now wirelessly. It removes the need for the clutter of wires and cables snaking around on my living room floor.

This item worked exactly like expected. Would like to see more apps to allow viewing of other channels but maybe that will come down the road. I bought a Roku first and ended up returning it in favor of Chromecast.

excellent item...100% recommended...great great great!

can't go wrong with google, best buy had it in stock

Lovin the Chromecast! Works great with Netflix and can cast a page from my Chrome browser. You can also upload to the RealPlayer Cloud and cast from there but the downside is you cannot cast from Windows Media Player.
