Simple, small, and fairly easy set up, but don't buy if you have DSL. Streaming was clunky at best. We can only get DSL at 3-5mbps at our house. This is not enough for the Chromecast. Apple TV performs better for us. Good luck.

I love it it works great it does what it says it does.

Although I was a little hesitant at first I decided to just bite the bullet and get this. It is so easy to set up and use , I don't know what made me think otherwise. I love google anyway so this was a no brainier!

The Chromecast is a purchase well worth the money, rather than buying a Roku o Apple TV. I'm very happy with the purchase.Works great and very easy to install. Drop your cable movie channels and buy this! It's worth it.

I a, m NOT going to begin to give a detailed review you can find those elsewhere. This thing is cheap and ultimately it does work. There are limitations so do your research. It's not very durable, setup is complicated, and it requires a myriad of other things in order to function. Like wifi Netflix or Hulu subscription a free HDMI port. Sometimes it doesn't do so good with the HDMI handshake, it won't work plugged into my tuner But directly into the TV its fine. I really like the handoff from the device to chromecast, no extra battery or processor usage on your phone or tablet. Have Even shut the phone off, and streaming has continued.

This is great for youtube streaming Very bad for online streaming for other media streaming, I watch lot of games from laptop and i see lot of streaming delay. sorry chormecast you are only good for your own siblings....

I still have my first generation Chromecast and it works like a charm! I only use it to mirror devices over Wi-Fi when I'm traveling and it works perfectly into any TV with and HDMI hook up.

Bought the Chromecast the first day it came out. What a great little device. So easy to operate from iPhone or laptop. Kids love it. Not just a novelty; can't wait until other video services come on-board with Chromecast.

This item worked exactly like expected. Would like to see more apps to allow viewing of other channels but maybe that will come down the road. I bought a Roku first and ended up returning it in favor of Chromecast.
