Best streaming device on the market at a fair price. Having used the Roku 3 and Apple TV previously, this product is by far the best bang for your buck!

It is a great little device to stream Netflix and Youtube seamlessly. It gives true HD video and sound. It can also mirror your Chrome browser, but that feature is a bit laggy. For $35, it is a great buy.

Chromcast is an excellent product and is very easy to use. More content providers are needed along with a Windows phone app.

Excellent item but doesn't support enough programs

I love how its wireless and you can basically use it for what ever reason. Stream movies from your computer to tv and also look through your personal files in a bigger screen. Very glad I bought this device

I'm still trying to figure out exactly how to use it. So far it has been great for Netflix and HBO-GO but playing local media files through the browser has been limited.

super easy just plug in and hook up to wifi and you're all set. no problems at all. both my brothers already bought one. can't beat the price of $35 either.

By the chrome cast, it is amazing. Much better than Roku when it comes to cost. The form factor makes it difficult to keep a track off but it is also very portable. All in all great buy for a great price

This was very easy to set up. It does exactly what it says. It's easy to navigate through. However can sometimes take a while to load but it's defendant on your internet connection. Overall I am enjoying it.

The Chromecast has made it even easier to access my favorite apps. I usually cast from my smartphone. It's amazing how simple it is and how crisp the picture quality is.

My first exposure installing the unit was actually kind of painful. I'd get 90% through the very easy process, then it would just not work. However, I eventually determined that the USB plug on the back of my TV was to blame, and when plugged into a different power source, setup was a breeze. Google support was freaking awesome when I finally broke down and called for help though, even though I eventually came to the answer myself. Not the Chromecast's fault, so that is not enough to warrant a bad review. So, setup was easy and fast when power problem was resolved. Used it the first time, easy, fast, functional - I was loving it. One of the best features, when you cast something from your device, if the TV is off, it turns on, and on or off, it switches to correct input, so all I have to do is cast and watch. Not even turn on the TV. HOWEVER... Just about every 3rd time I want to use the Chromecast, the icon to cast is missing from my respective devices (all of them). There is nothing to indicate a problem, landing screen says "ready to cast" and shows the appropriate wireless network with solid strength, but no cast button is available. After much ado, I discovered that simply restarting my router solves the problem. Having to go downstairs and restart the router and wait for it to boot every time I want to use the device completely nullifies the convenience features. So, when it works as intended, it's beautiful. I can't fairly give the chromecast a bad review because for all I know every problem I've had was probably related to my hardware, not Chromecasts. that said, it's as infuriating when it doesn't work as it is awesome when it's working as intended. Not sure where that puts me, but that's why I can't give it 4 or 5 stars. I don't think going out and getting a different chromecast would solve my issues, and I'm not about to go out and get a new tv or router just because it might be an incompatibility. With where it's at, I'd probably still recommend it, even with the issues I have using it sometimes.

I think this thing is pretty good for a half baked Google project. They probably could have gone just a tad bit further with it, but for 35 bucks it serves its purpose.

This is great for anybody that has netflix or Hulu plus on their phone/tablet, but doesn't have a smart tv. Get to watch whatever you like on the big screen while still being able to use your phone/tablet!

The product works as adverstised. Within 10 minutes I was able to cast my netflix in my TV. The user interface is also intuitive. I already asked my friends to buy it! Good Christmas gift for your loved ones.

The product works great. We use it every day! We watch netflix, play music and watch videos all the time. Since we bought this product it is now way easier and we don't have to deal with any messy cords.

For $35 it's hard to argue with, you get what you pay for and the Chromecast is the cheap Google version of the streaming to TV devices. Mostly I have spent many hours with decent playback from Netflix, Youtube, HBO Go, and casting webpages through Google Chrome. It tends to work better with my computer, but I have successfully used my Samsung Galaxy S5 and iPod Touch many times. Once in a while it gets glitchy and stops responding to my mobile devices and I have to try again on something else, but that could be a problem with either the phone or the ipod. As I said, for $35 it's a decent streamer.

Great easy to install item. One Note: Pay attention to the TV screen as instructions are sent via that but refer to steps to take with your computer/mobile device. It's relatively easy for even non-techies.

I got this for my dad. He loves streaming videos and pictures for my younger brothers. The hardest part was setting it up and it wasn't even that hard. Easy to use.

One of the best things I've purchased! I love being able to watch YouTube, Netflix, etc on my tv without having to go through a huge hassle. My phone connects immediately, and so simple to use. Love it!
