I bought this to make my dumb TV smart. It was a perfect buy for the price it is the best thing around. I love you so much I bought it for my family they loved it even more

Got this for my wife not totally impressed with the way it works. Our AppleTV is probably better but this was a third of the price. I really wish we could watch Amazon prime instant video with this.

This would be great for home networks with an Internet connection, but I have no options for this where I live, only unlimited data through my wireless provider. You must have a separate internet connection from your phone or the ability to use your phone as the hotspot itself, which I don't. Kept it because I travel a lot and thought I could use it in the hotel at least...not so much. Hotel wireless systems block your device and the Chromecast from talking to each other. For me, this device is pretty useless, but I could see how others would find it handy.

I use mine to cast my exercise videos to the TV by using the Google Chrome browser as a media player. It works very seamless with and lag. I also use it with Pandora and Spotify's webplayer.

Ordered this as a gift for my dad. Installation was simple. He's currently uses it mainly to watch YouTube videos of favorite musicians plus "world traveling" through videos of places he's been.

We had an apple tv and then bought chromecast! We love it so much more. There is more freedom with what you watch and the price is reasonable.

It's not compatible with all programs, only Youtube and ITunes. Needs to be a live stream from the computer to the TV no matter which program is being used.

Connected and at the very beginning it didn't connect easily but got it in the end, did it on my own, interesting and useful...hmmm would like to stream my rabbit TV and other apps I consider useful

This was an awesome game changer at my place. Was able to play anything anytime from just a click from my mobile. Lifesaver for me with kids.

Super cool product for me. Netflix streams perfect through it. The only problem I have there is a conflict with my tv as it will turn my tv on if left plugged in. Other than that it work great.

Chromecast is a great way to make any tv a smart tv. Setup was a little confusing at first and functionality seems limited right now, but for $35, you can't go wrong with investing in Chromecast.

Having a Chromecast is a bunch of fun. In my opinion it works best used as more of a supplement to your main streaming devices (Roku, DVD, SmartTV). It is fun to share YouTube videos or photos with friends with a just a couple button presses without changing video or TV settings. Most new TVs will recognize the device and play your content as soon as you "cast" it. Your friends can even hook onto the device (with WiFi permissions) and get in on the fun also. With more features on the way, I think this device is just tapping into it's potential.

We love the Chromecast, use it for project free tv and hulu. This was my first purchase when we cut the cord. We would certainly recommend to friends/family.

Works great as a middle device! Can steam from you phone or tablet very easily, and with many other programs adding the cast feature to their apps, it's getting harder to not cast something!

I enjoy streaming old classic live concert videos from 70's, 80's and such. Video quality is excellent. Audio is played through a Bose Surround system and sounds great. I would recommend this.

Great little gadget that will allow you to stream Netflix to any TV with an HDMI connection without the need for another box. Limited in other apps, but I'm told Google intends to download more.

Chromecast is a very nice product; however, depending upon your Internet connection you may experience some video lag, buffering, and choppy streaming. I recommend a download speed of about 3 Mbps.

I had some trouble setting it up ...But that was the comcast router. Now I love it use it all the time. I was going to get a ps4 to stream ...but my son suggested this And I am glad he did!!

We can connect our laptop to our TV with a HDMI cable to watch internet content but this is more convenient because it is always ready to cast .

I had high expectations. I realized that I can only watch things in chrome, but this didn't click until I started to use this product. It would be nice if I could view everything on my pc like apple tv does... either way this product sucks. Takes a while to setup, there is a huge lag, and if you change tabs, then you have to keep hitting the broadcast button. Not a great product.
