Okay I got this mostly because it came with 3 months of netflix but some of the features sounded interesting and it seemed like it might even do some stuff media tanks don't really do all that well like web browsing. Turns out it works good if you want a quick way to show a webpage to one of your friends without putting them in front of your computer. So I now send various cool things out to the TV for others to check out when we get together. I'm sure others have covered it isn't as powerful as a media tank since it doesn't do all the various video types but it does more than I expected and at that price it saves you some money if you don't need all the arcane media types.

Great start for Google with this streaming device. I can stream youtube and netflix with ease from my laptop or android phone. Can't wait to see what other features come our way in the future.

I liked the Google Chromecast, however, it still needs a lot of improvement. Google needs to fix a lot of issues. Netflix does not work very well, the circle just goes on and on. I have shut down my TV which means reboot the Chromecast multiple times for it to work. Sometimes, Youtube just continues to run even though I have stopped or paused the video on my Laptop. Also, it just has Youtube and Netflix for the time being, so features are limited. I wish I could use my Harmony Remote to control it instead of opening my laptop every time to pause or stop Youtube or Netflix.

While it's a good idea, the fact that there's not an actual remote is a dealkiller for me. Also wasn't as simple to set up as I had expected.

The Chromecast is the perfect device for sending content to a TV, especially if you are a Google/Android user. We use it to stream Netflix, YouTube, Pandora, Google Play Music, and Play Movies. It is as simple as tapping the Cast button on an enabled device, such as our Samsung Galaxy S4, iPad 2, Acer Chromebook, and HP laptop. The only reason it does not receive 5 stars is because sometimes the casting freezes and the device needs to be unplugged and plugged back in. However, as Google updates the device, it continues to become more stable and feature rich.

This device is remarkably efficient. It allows for full streaming to TV and even maximizes clarity of audio and video. Devices are able to store its contact signal to avoid repeated logins.

If your vested in the android ecosystem this is a must have way to steam music movies Netflix HBO go and more straight to your TV.. At this price point you can't find a cheaper way.. Buy it

Was easy to setup. Was only $11 with the 3 month netlfix discount. Beaming chrome tab worked flawlessly even though it was a beta. It'd be nice to be able to do the same from an Android phone.

Very good functionality for the price and it is easy to install, would be great if can be improved with more Internet capabilities, simple and easy to use.

We had an issue with our blue ray player and the built in app stopped playing Netflix. With the chromecast we have had no issues with the Netflix or YouTube streaming. This stick is great.

I use this only to cast Netflix to my TV using my Android tablet as a control point. It has worked flawlessly for this purpose so far. Set-up was trivial. Again, a no-brainer for the price.

Pretty easy to setup connection for non-techies to cast using Chrome browser and the basic apps supported. Can't wait until they add support for more apps.

You can easy stream your browser screen to TV from PC or iPad and chromecast will update automatically once got later. Good for anybody don't has smart TV.

Love this little gadget. The fact that I was able to convert my regular TV into a streaming device was fantastic! I love it so much am getting my daughter one to take with her to college.

Chromecast is an awesome alternative to more expensive similar products. It works well and doesn't require any major setup, other than plugging it in. We have really enjoyed it so far!

Works better then my internet blu-ray player. Took a few minutes to get set up, but overall happy with it.

Works great with my iPad. Streaming with great quality and has zero buffering while watching. Buy one of these for $35 and save hundreds from buying a smart TV. Highly recommend Chromecast.

Its a good device to keep handy. But the numebr of apps taht use chromecas are limited..yet! Hopefully this will change in couple of years down the line.

Easy to set up, use and understand. Wife and daughter use their IPads to control the settings. Has plenty of Apps so no one gets bored. I have one for each bedroom. Great to take on trips.

The product works as advertised, but I need to reset it nearly every time I want to use it. This may not seem like a big deal but when it's plugged into the back of a 60" TV it's a real pain.
