Extremely easy to setup and use. Streaming from computer, iOS, and/or android devices makes it an all around worthwhile tech tool to have.

I think this works for whoever doesn't own a smart tv or a PS4 but if you don't really need it, if you were able to access everything on your phone now that would be a whole different story..

I think the Chromecast HDMI Streaming Media Player is a handy device. If we want to stream a program from our computer to the television for a wider viewing audience we can more simply now.

I got it as a present for my parents, so far they enjoy it and they are able to use it very easily. I am thinking of buying one of my own tv as well

I enjoy this product very much. There are no wires to run thro the apartment. I just sit on the couch and stream contents from my Galaxy phone to HDTV. I am able to stream movies also.

You can't beat netflix and YouTube on any tv for $35. Super easy to setup, but typing passwords and login info is difficult. Typing any text is difficult.

Set up through a pc was a little time consuming, but the tech support was really helpful. Mostly got it to watch movies from my pc, but the streaming from supported sites is really cool.

Thought I''d be able to use this to download some TV apps instead of a cable box to watch on TV instead of tablet. This works very good for what it actually is which is to cast certain apps onto your TV. Other than Netflix, Youtube and a few others its not of much use. I would not recommend this to anybody. I would recommend an Android dongle instead. Only consolation is that it wasn't too expensive. Other than that dont waste your money on this.

I use this product close to about almost everyday and has made my life more enjoyable on my spare time and on the weekends. Great for movie night with friends or to just have a great time.

Chromecast is a wonderful product, however there is limited uses right now. Hopefully there will be some applications that allow personal video streaming.

Does what it's supposed to great. A streaming device is better but for the price you can't go wrong with this.

It is a good alternative for appletv. only problem is that not all apps work with it, but that can change with time! good if you dont use iphone/ipad.

Great if you don't have a smart TV. You can cast almost anything to your TV from your tablet or phone. Recommended to use chrome if casting from PC.

I bought this specifically to pair with my laptop, chromebook and android devices. Unfortunately it is not compatible with the chromebook (I know right?) and has really limited abilities via the chrome browser on the laptop. Only get this if you do not already have a streaming solution (like a smart tv or blu ray which we do) because it adds no value and has a power supply which sticks out a ton if you have the hdmi port on the side of your TV...

The is a great purchase for the price. Easy set up for those who are new to streaming. I read that they are adding more streaming providers.

This chromecast dongle is great for turning any TV into a smart TV! Its easy to set up, fast and easy to operate. I can't wait until more developers implement this dongle into their apps!

Chrome cast is a very handy and simple way to broadcast You Tube to your TV. I use it primarily from my Ipad, and once is set up it is very easy to use.

Before purchasing the ChromeCast stick, I had another device, this one seems easier to use and less wires. Connects easy to your network and transfer from one device to another with easy.

After all the rave reviews for this I picked one up to play with (it came free with a router I purchased) Setup is fairly straightforward and went smoothly. Beyond that, I am not sure why this is necessary. It requires external power and an HDMI port. For another $15 you could pick up a Roku that has the same requirements and doesn't have the one HUGE downside of the chromecast. Big downside. It requires an external source to "cast" to it. This literally does nothing unless you have a phone or tablet to connect to it with the exception of pretty wallpaper and the time as far as I can tell. I found this to be annoying and honestly seemed to make this a mostly pointless device. Only some things will "cast" and everything that does work can be accomplished with any of the other 10 devices hooked into my system already (Roku, AppleTV, Xbox, PS etc) I gave it three stars because it does work well within its limitations but honestly I think a $50 Roku is a better buy than $35 for this. If I had not gotten it for free I would have returned it.

For what its worth its a great product with a service that most others make difficult to manage. Keeping up with the times couldn't have been easier.
