I purchased this for myself just before Christmas and have yet to use it. The sales representative told me I could set it up off my mobile device and that was not true. It looks like if you had two mobile devices you could set it up. I have unlimited 4G LTE and watch movies and videos off my phone and wanted to screen them to my tv but to no avail. I also gave up my Direct TV to try something different, Netflix and Hula, I might be calling Direct TV back. Right now it will get two stars until I see what all the fuss is about.

Was disappointed that there was not more information about the product and/or specific instructions. It came with a coupon; however, there was no explanation how to use the coupon.

Easily links with Netflix for a variety of shows and movies to select. Helps to save money by downgrading or removing cable or satellite service. Try it and you will be amazed.

Connected to TV not on my cable account and works fine. Setup easy and straightforward. I also have 2 Roku boxes that I am very pleased with.

Great item, thinking about getting one for each room of my home. Good price, more features could be added but those may come later.

its a great product at great value, one can play even downloaded vid on the computer to TV without HDMI. Best investment EVER!!!!

Very easy to set up. If for some reason it seems to not want to connect, just turn power off and on and your good to go. Best deal for those of us who don't have a smart TV.

Inexpensive and very easy to install. Hooked right up to DirecTV, but need more instruction on how to actually access programs. Once I figure that out I will be using it a lot.

I use it mainly to cast Plex to my TV. it is cheaper than Google TV and Roku if you are using it for a single purpose. I like the Chromecast!

We got this to test it out and see if we could possibly use it to replace cable. Easy to set up and use. Waiting for more apps to be available but it is possibly a replacement.

The Chromcast is definitely worth the investment if you do not have a smart television. It's simple to set up and it's portable. I'd like to see more apps available for it.

Use it almost everyday and take it with me to friends houses. Ever since flixter became Chromecast compatible, I can watch all my ultraviolet movie collect through Chromecast.

It's a great little streaming device which works on Chrome browser on PC and Mac, Android, and iOS. It supports a good amount of popular streaming apps and is very inexpensive.

Does just what it is advertised to do. Other devices will give you more functionality, but for more than double the price. If you want to stream netflix or hulu, this works.

My daughter has no cable at her house, but i can go there and hook my chromecast in her tv and stream any movie from my cable account from home and watch a movie on her tv.

I now have a Chromecast in each of the tv's in my house. The Chromecast is very convenient and easy to set up. Here's to hoping more apps allow to broadcast to Chromecast!

Watch anything on your tv from your computer.... You Tube videos, Net Flix movies, anything. It's easy to use and we've had absolutely no problems with it. Plus..it's only $35.

The Chromecast is a great deal for the money at only $35 compared to AppleTV at almost $100. You can stream to the Chromecast through a lot of apps, but these apps aren't on board the Chromecast...you have to download them to whatever device you want to stream from. Being able to "cast" a tab is cool, but I've gotten mixed results from pages that don't support casting natively. All around though you can't go wrong for $35 and I'm sure more and more sites and apps will support "casting", especially since tGoogle's release of their SDK.

It saves me money. It was free since I used my Best Buy reward points. I can watch Netflix and Youtube. I have recommended it to my friends.

Everything has to be perfect to make chrome cast work well. Internet has to be working fast if you want to wash the movie in a good speed. Almost all TV has Netflix , Pandora etc.
