Customer Ratings & Reviews

I bought it for the simple fact I could control it with the pc or a mobile device. HBO,Netflix,Hulu & YouTube all support it nicely along with pandora & a couple others.

Love this item since we do not have cable. We use Hulu, Netflix and YouTube from our phone and connect it to the tv. We have 4 already... This is for a family member

Great product which makes it east to transfer something I am watching on my laptop to my TV

Its a good product to have for ur tv, easy to use and.connect to ur computer or mocbile device

Works pretty good....except when trying to stream from my tablet. Usually freezes up during the start up process. Will have to research and learn more, or what can be done.

bought for my non-smart TV, can watch youtube video on TV now. Hope it could also put amazon prime video on TV, has to use Wii for amazon prime now, not very convenient.

I don't use Neflix and Hulu. I mainly stream Asian drama through Viki and dramafever. Chromecast only support Viki but not dramafever. The usefulness of the device really depends on what web site you use. For Viki, streaming quality is acceptable but certainly not as good as streaming from computer. It probably is not as good as my 1st gen LG google TV but it is good enough for my second TV that do not support streaming internally. It is cheap, if it support the site that you used for streaming, it is worth the price.

My brother told me about the Chromecast media player and I was intrigued. It' easy to use and works great...got it after Thanksgiving for under $25...well worth it!

The first one ended up not working right, got another one and after taking a time to set it up the right way, I'm happy that it works.

Told about from a coworker. Very easy set up and use. Love it. Use it everyday. Links my Netflix on my phone to Tv. My phone is the remote. Works all over the house.

The Chromecast was setup in minutes. I had to buy an HDMI switch to get the sound, but that was also a breeze to get working. I have had absolutely no problems with it.

I love having the ability to play anything in the chrome browser and have it shown on TV. Also love playing various cool apps such as youtube from mobile phones to TV.

Great for multi-device households to broadcast to your TV from commonly used apps. Not as much content and doesn't work as a stand-alone device like solutions such as Roku.

Its small and works great in so many ways. News apps added frequently and never had an issue. Recommended to anyone and everyone with a spare HDMI slot. iOS friendly.

I got this as a substitute for having to always connect my xbox or computer to stream Netflix. Now i can connect with my smartphone and stream what i enjoy watching!

All you do is plug it into an HDMI slot on your TV. Setup is easy. We really love it!!

Quite an amazing gadget. There is a bit of duplication with the apps on my smart TV, but for streaming from my desktop, it's great.

This product is awesome. Simply plug it in, follow some simple setup instructions, and then you can stream content from a mobile device or a laptop straight to your TV.

Bought this on a whim on Black Friday and wish I would have bought 2 or 3. The streaming over my wireless network is amazing and it only took me a few minutes to setup.

If you are looking to add smart TV features to your tv but don't want to upgrade you can do so with this for 35 bucks. Cheap and a quality product its tough to pass up.
