This device was not as easy to set up as the Roku USB type streaming player. It does not have a remote and has to be used through an App on your android phone or tablet.

Got this as a gift for my parents. Very easy set up and easy to navigate. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for easy access to online for their tv.

This is amazing! I can stream from my phone to my TV and the USB is portable and I can place it in any TV in my house! It was also easy to install! I love it!!!!

Chromecast is very easy to use and to set up. All you need to DL is plug it in and download the app. You can practically stream anything from any device to your tv.

It's super easy to install. The price is great. I wanted it for Netflix so it fits it purpose

Overall great item and price compared to others out there like the Roku. Though still only a few apps available, the ones available are good, like HBO GO. Personally, I think the lack of available compatible apps more than makes up to what chromecast can do. Specifically the ability to stream local files, videos, etc. Also, ability to cast anything on chrome browser is great! Only issue I found is that it sometimes disconnects from your device. Whatever you're casting keeps going, just need to reconnect to pause or change. Minimal issues. Cause could be Wifi at times and it doesn't happen often.

Excellent item. It was easy to set up and gets a better connection than my smart tv and allows me to use my VPN service on my phone with it which is a huge bonus.

I love this tiny device. I use it everyday. I am sorry for windows phone users though. They will be out of luck for sometime lol. I hope there will be more apps soon.

I don't normally buy devices when they're first released, but with the 3 free months of Netflix included with my Chromium purchase, I couldn't pass this up. Overall, I think it's an interesting device and SHOULD be very useful after support for more sites and/or apps is added to it. For now, it's great for Netflix and YouTube, but not much else. Hulu.com DOES work when mirrored from the chrome browser, but that means you have to have a computer tied up for streaming it if you want it to show full screen on your TV.

I use it for traveling. Need to install DD WRT on an old router to use in hotels. Works well. Could do with more app compatibility.

I would buy it again. Initially it caused some network problems and my pc could not find a wireless network. Once I got that fixed it has done what it was designed for.

Great tool, very easy to setup and use, however is doesn't work with that many apps for ipad.

It's an awesome product, but it really could use more apps...be much more useful and enjoyable. It does work perfectly well though.

This is the second chromecast that I had purchased and I did it because the first one worked excellent. I widely recommend it!!

While I haven't explored all of it's uses my kids enjoy using it to stream Netflix from either their Nook or their Ipad

Love the ability to view what I am viewing on my smartphone. I only wishing you could cast every app including games onto my HDTV..

We absolutely love this device! My 13 year can sit in bed and play Netflix on her TV from her Ipad and she just loves it. Can't beat the price or the ease of install.

I bought this after lots of positive reviews and recommendations. Works great, I stream Hulu, Netflix, YouTube, and twitchtv without any faults.

I would recommend this device to anyone who wants to cut the cord (cable). A great and easy way to send content to your television from your smart phone or tablet.

Love it! It's so easy to use! Only downside is that it has to be connected to the power so another cable needs to run down the tv. But besides that it's great!
