We use this on our older non smart Samsung and we couldn’t be happier. Now if only Amazon video would allow casting it would be perfect.

Chromecast is GREAT! It's so handy to be able to 'throw' youtube videos to the tv for viewing by friends and family. compared to apple tv it's a definite winner!

The Chromecast is pretty cool. I mainly use it in conjunction with my phone. There are a lot of good apps for it, it's extremely easy to use, and to set up.

We love using the Google Chromecast it made our regular TV into a smart TV. We enjoy using our phones as remotes to control what which shows we want to watch.

Chromecast hands down is my favorite device I own. I take it with me to any room and just stream straight from my phone. I love it.

Purchased this to use when travelling so I could see movies etc. in hotels. It was advertised as the perfect travel companion. BIG PROBLEM - you can't use it in any hotel that requires you to sign in. And that means ALL of them! How Google could have missed such an obvious issue is beyond me - I'm hanging on to it in the hope that they issue a firmware fix but ... Great device spoiled by a stupid deficiency.

This is the cheapest way to make any tv into a smart tv without having to spend $99 on an Apple TV unit that pretty much does the same exact thing as this!

I found that Chromecast worked great with our tv. It was easy to set up and worked very well with my computer. We are very pleased, especially for the price.

This is easy to setup and operate. Technical support is very prompt and experienced. Overall good buy with 3 months of netflix.

My biggest problem is There is no "Splash Screen" to be able to log into hotel Internet site Where you need to enter password. Works good on home Internet sites

streams off chrome browser and various iphone apps. for $35, can't go wrong. i am sure google will add more apps that will allow direct streaming in the future.

Love this thin, I really do, but it needs more compatibility and more apps. Other than that It is great, thanks again Google!

Chromecast enables the user to tell their HDTV, "Hey, I'm watching this video on my phone/tablet, but I wanna see it on my big screen!" and Chromecast says "Roger that!" and begins pulling the information from the internet (through your Wi-Fi) and playing it on your television. After it begins playing, you're able to control the media (Youtube, Netflix, Google Play Music/Movies, so far!) from your smartphone or tablet. all the while, you're free to do what you wish with your phone! You can have Orange is the New Black playing while you destroy some piggies in Angry Birds Star Wars II !

Chromecast stick is an inexpensive and easy way to add streaming video and music to your TV. Can be move from one TV to another very easily. Great device!
