I purchased this to play movies from apps on my phone and tablet. Great for watching videos and movies on a larger screen. Crisp, sharp picture and sound

The idea is great, but in practice it's been more trouble than simply plugging in a usb from a computer to the TV. Using YouTube and Google Play work fine. But I can't count the number of times it's disconnected from wifi for no apparent reason, leaving me to reset the device and set up all over again. It's also been very frustrating trying to play files from a computer due to the lower quality and delay time. Either the technology or the app support just isn't there yet.

I needed a little help to get it going. Overall great product and great price.

I bought this expecting to be able to watch ESPN-3 games on TV. Unfortunately, it just does not work well with this, even using the Chrome browser (slow, jumpy). It works extremely well with Youtube, Netflix, HBO-Go, and others. I am hoping that more aps will become compatible with this product, especially Watch ESPN.

It was a great Christmas present for all of our kids. Very easy and a big hit!

Technology has passed Chromecast. New smart TVswith browsers and xfinity's new Netflix app make this old.

Netflix subscription for 3 months is awesome. Great easy item to use. Now I can easily watch YouTube and Netflix on my tv.

It is amazing streaming device, high quality definicion and clear audio, it works with you tube, Netflix, hulu, etc..

Awesome device for the price and also for Google play credit. Just buy a movie or an app and enjoy streaming.

Overall good product. streams nice but sometimes picture freezes. easy to setup and stream from ipad, computer or phone.

This is probably one of the best devices and easiest to use. You basically plug it in, follow the directions and installed within 10 minutes. Love it.

This "gadget" is a really cool and affordable way to watch things that are on my ipod (very small) on my TV (pretty big). It is easy to use and set up.

Great purchase I use Netflix, YouTube, and pandora on my TVs all the time and its easy to set up. It's also cheaper then having to get roku or Apple TV.

Easy enough to figure out. I've been playing around with it for awhile and it has kept me occupied when I have insomnia.

I had purchased the chrome to replace the use of our Wii, but disappointed since does not work with my Kindle Fire.

This will not replace a full-service set-top box (Roku, Apple TV, etc). It will however, work in an extra bedroom or somewhere where there is not a lot of heavy use. While using your phone/tablet/computer as a remote sounds like a great feature, it gets old quick. I would not stop someone from buying this, but don't expect what you may have seen some of the other smart devices out there.

Up to a few weeks a go I was upset that I could not stream in the bedroom as we had a regular TV. This product allows us to stream without any problem.

This product was recommended to me since I didn't have a tv that could stream movies. I set the chromecast up in less than 10 minutes. Very easy to do.

This is a nice inexpensive streaming device. We use it primarily for NetFlix and YouTube video/audio streaming and the video and audio quality is great.
