it does nothing, you can watch YouTube and a few other apps that's it, every smart TV can already do that.

For the price it certainly beats out a Roku. Hopefully they will add some other applications like Hulu Plus, etc.

If I didn't live on netflix I wouldn't have liked it. But I do like that I can plug it a TV or a Projector and that device is now instantly Netflix capable. The Computer can cast the chrome web page. I'll like it when Windows media player and other programs build in the casting option. But for the price it's really nice. Set up is a little wonky, but I think that's because google way oversimplified instructions in an effort to make you think it was easy set up. Ironically, if the instructions had been more descriptive, could have been an easy set up.

It's too slow compared with my Apple TV, I recommend that over this product but you can't beat the price. Also you can't stream Amazon prime movies.

I bought this for my daughter to use at school. It was perfect and allowed her to stream all her shows from her computer to her TV with ease.

Great device, easy to setup and got 3 month netflix membership.Looking for more apps which can support chromecast.

Very easy to set up! Watch Netflix from your smart phone our tablet on your tv. Doesn't work with all video apps bet great for Netflix alone.

Nice item, but for elderly no quite as simple, use for a while and get used to. The I-phone does work, that is all I tried, nice clear picture.

The chromecast is fast and easy to use. I only wish that there were more applications available for it. Native Amazon video support would be nice.

Absolutly love it. At that price point I couldn't stop myself from buying one, and am in the process of getting another one for the downstairs tv.

For the cost of this equipment its makes your tv a smart tv and can be used for various uses. great for web presentations and watching xfinity.

I now have 4 of these in my house. Best way to stream media for cord cutters or even just to access premium shows and movies on Google Play.

The device was easy to plug into the tv, where I previously had plugged in a wire to my chromebook. After installing, it worked as promised.

Chrome cast has very limited functionality .It can be used only for a few Google apps! Can not be used for iPad videos.Does not support Mirroring .

But several of the products do the same thing. A gaming console or wifi tv renders the chrome cast unneeded.

I bought this to stream the Netflix, You tube from my smartphone to my non-smart TV, it works great as expected.

my 12 year old grandson did most of the work to set it up---so far so good-----havn't hooked up with Netflix yet

I bought this item to cast everything on my screen, but learned that it only casts certain items on your phone like Pandora, YouTube, and videos you watch online from websites. You cannot cast your screen like you would if you had an hdmi cable connecting the 2 devices. If you're looking for something simple to set up and use for small things, it's worth it. If you have a smart TV, most android phones can cast to the TV directly and you won't need this.
