It's a great simple product to easily watch youtube,netflix,etc. On the tv. It's easy to transition between tv watching and online content.

The chrome cast has great function but is difficult to turn on and off it must be plugged into the wall for power and many stations do not stream

I used to connect my laptop to my tv but now all i use is this product. I watch Hulu and Netflix, and also watch youtube and listen to pandora.

I like to watch movie from NETflix, but my monitor is too small. But with chromecast, I can watch movie on my TV

This may have been an innovation when it was first released but the Amazon Fire Stick has really moved things forward! Control of the ChromeCast has to be done via your phone or tablet which was fun first of all but became tedious after a while. If you want something that you will use occasionally to stream to your TV, this will work but if you what to replace a cable box, I would recommend the Fire Stick as it is much simpler to use on a daily basis.

Was up and running in a few minutes... works great with Netflix, youtube, etc.. also is great because it's not tying up your tablet or laptop..

Great device to throw computer images or videos on non-smart tv. Recommended by friend who has it and she was right, very very easy to install.

For the price and value - it is an excellent choice. The plug and play simplicity was great. It was a perfect buy for my child's television.

I'm sure you've read this elsewhere. It's a cheap device that does a good job of what it's currently capable of. Unpowered HDMI is a little annoying but whatever...It's just a micro-USB power cable which I have 20 of around the house. It's kind of nice to be able to bring it to a friend's house and watch something though I've only done this one at a person's house that has no cable. Netflix apparently just released an Android update for it today. Hulu Plus is now supported - hopefully a sign of what's to come. More services, please, Google!!!

I often use Netflix. The Chromecast works great except on occasion it seems to lose sync meaning the movie or show I am watching will move through a frame like process or the audio is not matching the movement of the actor's lips. When that happens I will stop what I am watching, go back to the browse section and go back into it. Once I do this it plays perfectly again.

I was a little leery about purchasing a Chromecast device but after using it a few times with my iPad and laptop, I am really pleased with it.

If you want a cheap and easy way to play YouTube and Netflix and other content as it becomes available on your TV,, Chromecast offers an easy to use very cheap alternative to Roku and Apple TV. It provides limited WiDi like features by casting the chrome browser on the TV but it is not a full fledged Wireless Display. The Chromecast is not open for developers to expand features

Plugged this into tv connected to house internet and opened google browser. Setup was easy and works like a champ Really neat addition to home.

This is a great gadget. Overtime it will be a big cost-savings. The picture is more clear, and you can select what and when you watch programs.

This works great from my phone but when streaming from my PC the picture lags but the sound does not. Still have not found a fix for this problem.
