I see potential, but it is currently underwhelming

Currently, the Chromecast only offers Google music and video, Netflix, and web browsing. As the Chromecast is updated, it may become an amazing device, but as of right now, it doesn't offer many options.

I would like a few extra features in future updates or models, however. The fact that I can serve my Plex movies and media content to my TV without having to get out of my comfy spot is delightfully lazy.

Great Value Compared to Competition

If you don't have Smart functionality built into your TV, you cannot beat this little device for $35. It lets you stream content from your PC through the Chrome browser or from some (but not all) of your streaming internet apps like Netflix, WatchESPN, etc. There are a couple of extra features on other Smart-enabling devices, like Roku and AppleTV, but I certainly don't use them enough to warrant an extra $65 when the Chromecast does what it does for under 40. It is simply amazing.
