Customer Ratings & Reviews

Great for Netflix, Youtube, HBO Go. I love how you can use your phone and there's not an extra remote laying around.

I was new to streaming media but had recently started using netflix with a laptop and hdmi to our tv. Then I bought the Chromecast. AWESOME!!! We start netflix on the laptop and then hit the Chromecast icon and "cast" the content to the tv. Super easy and now we are reliving the entire Lost Series in HD. Fantastic results for $35. I wish there were more apps that worked with it. You can cast other things from the browser but it gets jerky at times. But for $35 it is well worth it!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

The google chromecast is a great HD streaming device and only 35.00. I use it at hotels as I travel every easy install and use.

Overall product arrived in time. Good product, easy to setup and use. I will recommend to a friend.

Easy to set-up and use. Works as expected. Some lag may happen when on a slow network and streaming videos via a web browser.

Easy enough to use straight out of the box, my 11 year old daughter uses it with her tablet daily

I have read about this item before I purchased it and it worked exactly what I expected. It was easy to use and works flawlessly.

It only works for certain videos and such. Not as easy to use as the commericals make it seem

I've loved having the ability to stream anything from my computer to the TV. We've used it even more than I thought we would!

This product is affordable, works just as described, no problems whatsoever with it.

I brought 3 so far for my family as a gifts. Love it and easy to set up and connect.

Great for what it offers but needs to offer more compatible apps to make it even more worthwhile.

Only one complaint here and that's the fact that I cannot cast Google chrome to the device. Basically I would like to mirror my Google chrome screen from my cell phone or tablet (both Google devices). The only device that seems to have this capability is my desktop. I'm ready for Google to make changes that we all know are already out there. Other than that...I love the chromecast device and I have two (bedroom and living room)! This is one of the best technology devices that I've ever purchased.

great easy to use device! allows the tv to be used for a variety of uses. uses that i can choose when i want and most are free.

very convenient to use from tablet or smartphone. wish you can access more things from it though.

Easy to install, setup and use. Only negative is that it doesn't have Amazon Prime.

Chrome succeeds in making an older non smart TV into a smarter TV. It will be even better with more application compatibility.

Associate assured us it would work with Amazon Prime. It does not. Returned and Bought Roku 3

I bought this to have an easy way to stream my computer screen to the TV. It does okay, but is very limited in what it can stream.

This technology is perfect for what I needed. I was just looking for a way to watch streaming movies and tv shows more easily then on my computer and phone. My tv was "a little smart" in that it has Netflix and Amazon built in, but it is not wireless compatible and didn't allow me to stream other sources such as MLB.TV, HBO GO, and other sites...this works out perfect, hooks up to my phone, and uses very little battery strength to watch my favorite shows...wish I found this a long time ago.
