I was just looking for a way to watch streaming movies and tv shows more easily then on my computer and phone. My tv was "a little smart" in that it has Netflix and Amazon built in, but it is not wireless compatible and didn't allow me to stream other sources such as MLB.TV, HBO GO, and other sites...this works out perfect, hooks up to my phone, and uses very little battery strength to watch my favorite shows...wish I found this a long time ago.

Great Purchase

It has worked wonderfully and has been one of the best purchases I've made. The only issue I've had recently with it is the syncing from my phone; it could be my internet connection that lags but sometimes I have to cancel out of Netflix on my phone once or twice and try to re-stream it to the TV before it works. Other than that no complaints!

Turn your dumb tv into a smart tv

Netflix without bulky boxes

I can stream files that are MP4 or MKV that are on my phone onto my television, using the Chromecast. Youtube videos play great and effortlessly. If you don't have a "smart tv" but, you do have a television that has a USB connection, this product works very well. It's a simple and cost effective way to turn your television into a smart tv, at least a smarter tv.
