It's simple to use and easy to stream onto your TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have had the product for about 2 years now. It was a great (BestBuy) then and it's still one now. I can stream files that are MP4 or MKV that are on my phone onto my television, using the Chromecast. Youtube videos play great and effortlessly. If you don't have a "smart tv" but, you do have a television that has a USB connection, this product works very well. It's a simple and cost effective way to turn your television into a smart tv, at least a smarter tv.

Mostly Pointless
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The streaming works well but unless you use hulu, Netflix, watch a ton of YouTube or drink the Google Play kool-aid there is little to do with it. Maybe Plex will make it more usable but I haven't used the Chromecast since the first night. Setup was really easy and simple though.
