Customer Ratings & Reviews

Has it shortcomings (completely aware of them coming in) but what do you want for this price?

I bought 3 of these when they were on sale. My sons use theirs with their I-phones and mine with an Galaxy S-3. It's a good product with easy setup but it's still has a long ways to go to compete with other similar products but again it's an awesome price for what you get. I would rate it much higher when more useful apps are added to it.

This product is very good and very useful all I have to do is turn on my tv and just use my phone or tablet. 5 stars!!

Super easy to use! Plugs right in behind your TV. You can even tell it's there!

I have found this product to do everyting I had hoped it would do for me. It was easy to install and works consistently.

The Chromecast is a cool device now with the potential to be great in the near future. It has limited support at the moment, but what it does support, it works quite well (Netflix, Google Play Music, Chrome tab casting). However, the potential for this device is tremendous once the official SDK is released and more apps are released that support Chromecasting. At this price, it's worth buying for the potential alone.

nice way to convert your tv in a smart tv spend litle

The device that came with my TV failed and I received this one as a gift. It is so easy to set up and use, I love it.

So far works well. Easy to use. Mirror mode works great from my nexus 7 tablet To my TV.

A small devise but very useful. The product arrived on time and easy to set up.

It's very cool and easy to set up. There didn't appear to be any delays. I wasn't expecting to have to use a power cord.

I bought one a few weeks ago to test it out and I love it I'm bout to purchase another one for my kitchen tv great device

very simple to set up but if you already have a cable connection at that tv, the only use is for a computer connection.

Not that my review is towards the google chromecast. My review is more towards bestbuy. I bought this item it took about 7 business days to get to me when they said 3-5 days I had it for 17 days used to for about 1 hour and wanted to return it and bestbuy would not give me no store credit and couldn't help me out even tho I buy all my electronics from there. I will think twice about buying something from them again.

I love using this thing for watching YouTube videos on my TV. Great HD quality and easy functioning on my phone still.

It is fast and easy to use for Netflix. But would be much better if it had more apps on it.

It works well though not quite as smooth of an experience as a dedicated streaming device like an Apple TV or fire stick.

If you want to stream but not spend a lot or have another box and remote-this is The single best product. Works with Android and iPhone/pad plus your computer through the Chrome browser. Now apple has the Google Play music/movies/TV app so it really works with both. Unless I wasn't too use the SuperHD on Netflix, this little dongle has replace my smart tv apps and PlayStation (plus or smart blu-ray in the bedroom). I loved this so much we bought a second for the bedroom 1 week later.

This is great to use to cast our shows and youtube videos from our iPad to the bigger tv.

Although Roku is closing the gap, this is still the best option for streaming. The phone/tablet apps keep improving to offer more flexibility with the Chromecast. I would definitely recommend this product above the other options available, but mainly if you are comfortable with browsing your apps through a phone/tablet/computer. Not to mention the money saving compared to others!
