Great for wireless TV viewing...

This is a must have item if you are watching a lot of Netflix, Hulu, and/or YouTube. I know there are other applications coming to expand the usefulness of the Chromecast, but I am quite happy with it now. It makes it sooooo easy to "throw" the video from computer, tablet, or phone wirelessly onto the TV. Highly recommended!

Good Cheap option to view Youtube on the TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.While it can be a quick and easy option to get youtube videos on the big screen, there are a lot of apps that are not yet supported (like the Comcast Xfinity apps and several others). Also, there is no good way to play out locally stored files from the phone or tablet to chromecast. I think most of these can be fixed in the future.

Does the job and more

Not too hard to do it with cables. But with this device you can not only do it wirelessly but you can have everyone else in the room project their presentations from their seats taking turns without needing to hook up each person's laptop to the screen when ready to present. High five to Google for developing this device and offering it at such a great price.
