very good HD quality from computer/phone to TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.great product already have a ROKU so i get hulu-plus and netflix and youtube. what's nice is that selecting programs (particularly searching for them) on ROKU can be a pain in the but--terrible keyboard typing on screen.. it's much easier to do from chromecast i noticed though that some of my videos within web-browsers do not let me go full-screen when i broadcast. hoping there are upgrades coming that allow me to push other things from my computer or phone to the TV screen

Need support for more apps

Right now its function is quite limited to a few apps in android OS, and not even to mention iOS. I hope it will support Chrome browser streaming for my mobile devices soon since the desktop Chrome browser can do it now . It will add lots of fun if it can be made like a universal "wireless" HDMI device in the future.

It would be great if more services were added like Amazon Prime, although I realize that is competition to Google Play Video, but then so is Netflix. The apps that support the Chromecast seem to work great. It does affect battery life to some degree but not terribly. Overall, I'd recommend.
