Great cheap and small device for old TV with HDMI

Okay product

This is an okay product for the price, but you might as well purchase the Roku instead. It is easier and more user friendly my opinion. With Chrome, you have to use another device to switch it to the TV, with Roku it is on the TV.

Good for what it does

For those programs that use chromecast, it works well. It came in handy when I had my DVR tuner maxxed out. I was able to watch another program easily. It also is nicer to watch on a big screen rather than a pc or tablet. But there are still many streaming programs that do not have the capability which is a problem.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't have a smart TV and haven't turned the 360 on in almost a year, so the Chromecast meets needs of streaming Netflix and Youtube video. Device was easy to setup and really like the interactivity between the device and my phone. Only letdown is that the music app won't play music I have "side-loaded", or whatever it called it. Pretty lame on that, bu I'm very glad I have it.
