Bought one for myself and loved it, gave as a gift, and the price is right perfect for mobile devices

a little delay from my laptop to the TV, but doesn't bother us. We still used HDMI cables more often.

This is a great device for watching items from your computer on your tv.

This is a great piece for viewing the supported apps, wish Apple chrome support was added as well.

We brought this so we can watch Hulu Plus and Nexflex on TV instead of our tablets when we are home.

Overall, it wasn't too hard to setup. Just its honestly not that much better than the the built in SmartTV functions of most TV's already. It just sort of replicates most of them unless you use Plex or another program to try and stream content from your PC to your TV. The music streaming capability is also limited to Google Play bought tunes (if you use the default streaming off of Google Play on your phone, need Plex or something similar if you want to do more). And the biggest kicker for me is no built in Amazon Prime streaming right now :( If you want it, you need to stream from a PC which is somewhat cumbersome compared to just telling it to connect using a phone or tablet. Not bad for the price I guess but I'd probably try and get something more capable with a higher price point next time like a Roku 3.

This is a great device. It works perfectly for streaming things from my computer to my television.

The Chromecast works fairly well at streaming you tube and a few other applications from your smart phone or tablet, but for a few bucks more you can buy a wireless blue ray or a roku and get a lot more bang for the buck. OTOH, at $30, it's about the same price as hardwire connector for an IOS tablet.

Good device, small and compact. Attached to the back of the TV out of the way. Needs an on/off switch.

Works as advertised. Roku is also a great option as well if you want to spend a few more dollars.
