Considering all the options I have to stream content to my TV, the Chromecast is a really fast option. It involves a lot fewer menu's and keystrokes to get the TV playing. It really IS as simple as hitting the icon and sending it to the "big" screen. (And, of course, make sure your TV input is set to the same HDMI port you plugged the Chromecast in to.)

Plug it in the tv. Download an application on phone or laptop and youre set

easy to setup and use and a little slow at times, make sure you have a strong wifi signal

This chrome cast that I bought is OK. I think I would've purchased the fire stick instead.

Purchased this to expand and to mirror my desktop in my home office. Although it works, there is definite stuttering and lagging going on. I'm sure this may be tightened up as the software is updated. But overall for the price it is a great little tool for your tv. Netflix, youtube and music services seem to work well so far. I would recommend it.

I was really excited to get one after I purchased MLBtv. I needed a way to watch it on my 2 tvs that don't have wifi. I like that I can easily move it between tvs, but it was a constant problem. I had to refresh or reload the casting of MLBtv every 5 minutes. It would just pop up as an error on my phone and I would have to get out of the app and back in. Really disappointing. I returned it and bought Apple TV.

We take this when we travel. It is convenient to use and small so it packs well.

Great item to use for a beginner. It shows movies from my computer to the TV real clear.

You can be streaming something from your device and open up a different app without interrupting whatever you are watching! Also the device can be on standby mode and still be playing, conserving the devices energy. Won't have to worry about burning out your phone or tablets screen! unlike other adapters the device has to be on in order to be playing!
