Displays a crystal clear picture which is perfect for trying to recreate the movie theater experience in your own home. The small size fits easily behind the TV and is compact enough to easily switch to another tv on a different room if needed.

I just subscribed to YouTube TV. I can tell Google Home to play a particular show through my chromecast and it will turn on TV and play the show. I can tell it to pause and it will. I can send pictures from my phone to my TV. It's great when family comes over and we look back at photos.

It's easy enough to use, but getting use to using apps on your smartphone or computer to direct streams to your Chromecast will take some getting use to. I have been working on learning the voice commands, as once you have apps linked you can do tons with just voice commands. Google could add a few more apps to that list as well, and I'm sure they will.

Just love it. MONEY well spent. Works well with my not so smart TV.

I have always sworn by Chromecast, but we had 2 1st generation ones that took a while to connect to. Even though we got a "Smart" tv recently, I am so glad we got this upgraded Chromecast. It connects so fast, and the picture quality is amazing.

Having multiple tv around the house a chrome cast seems to be always a good idea to have. Some apps doesn’t let you stream to Apple TV but chrome cast is always available. It also, always ready to go. No need to reconnect it if you haven’t used it in a few days.

We already had the regular chromecast for our older TV. Having just bought a new 4k TV, we added this one rather than use the old one. It works just as well. Can't say the older version wouldn't have worked but why spend the money on a 4k TV and not use this since it's designed for it seemed a waste to me.

It does not overheat or glitch like previous generation. No streaming issues and only had to reset once in over a year since purchase. Keep in mind some competitor vendors do not have Chromecast as an option, but those that do work well.

I bought this to be able to cast videos from my iPhone and PC using Chrome as well as play music. Setup was very easy (minutes) and it works nicely for the video casting I do. Had trouble getting Google Home to play just music though - I have a GoogleCast Audio that works well for that; seems like this device would work for audio only also . Overall very happy with it.

This has been working great for us. Fast to load and I live that it turns on the TV when you cast to it.

After purchasing for myself and several relatives we have been very pleased - specifically with the phone casting functionality that sets Google devices apart. I would get a Google TV + Chromecast device now, however (best of both worlds).

I was in the market for something that would stream things from my mobile phone to my new 70 inch TV. I was shown the Chromecast Ultra device. I purchased it from Best Buy, installed and programmed it to TV. I was amazed how well it worked. Totally impressed.

Setup was easy, works flawlessly with my Google home. All of my friends can cast directly to my tv from any phone without having to install any additional software/apps. Perfect!!! Just make sure to have them connect to your WiFi! Great for a small setup or home theater quality viewing.

The Google Chromecast Ultra 4K streaming media player is easy to setup with your smartphone. However, I don't know if the price is worth the 4K quality. I think the original Chromecast is just as good when streaming content from your smartphone or computer to your TV.

I purchased this for my wife's new TV. I bought the ultra because it is able to handle 4K. It was easy to add this into our Home Automation system and works via voice control with Google Home. Extremely satisfied. I have the original Chromecast as well and use it on another TV in our home.

Just like the original but with more eye candy. Note that it doesn't plug in to USB like the original.

I needed to cast some videos from my Android phone to my tv in the family room. This worked perfectly.

I've had google chromecast for several years now, and finally I upgraded to this device. the transition has been seamless and sharing screens has become much more swifter and faster. the old one still works but sometimes it disconnects but this has been more stable and is able to broadcast hi-def videos

Picked this up to be able to watch Peacock Network and it works as expected. Had a bit of an audio hiccup at first but after some reading online and some changes, it worked fine. We don't use it very often but it works when needed.

I have one directv set top box, bought chromecast to watch directv on any tv with a hdmi connection.
