Bought this during the sale. It's quite fun, comfortable to wear and was worth the sale price. With the standard pixel phone, the resolution is average, depending on what you watch (I've not played any games using it), you will definitely see pixelation at times although it's not too intrusive to the experience. It's far from perfect, but overall I'd recommend it.

The daydream is a great beginner experience to virtual reality, despite its lack of variety in apps. There is space under the eyes where the goggles do not cover the face, and the goggles take some adjusting to make sure that the images are clear. Other than that, the Daydream functions well for a beginner and for someone looking fir a cheaper option than other VR.

It's fun to use, the remote works well, and on screen directions are helpful. Not a lot of free content to download, though, and as the other reviews mention, the phone gets extremely hot after 10 minutes of use. For the price I paid, however, it's a good deal

This is a nice looking and nice functioning 3D viewer. It is stylish, comfortable and functional. I am using it with a Pixel XL

Picked up my Daydream the day it came out. It has been so much fun. Watching the 4k VR videos on the YouTube app is an amazing experience. It would be great if there were more apps but with just starting out I think Google has done an amazing job with this so far. Only downside is that the phone does get pretty warm and the lenses fog up because there is no air flow.

This product works well, but it takes some getting used to. It does drain your data if you aren't on wifi and didn't fit exactly snug on my face. It is comfortable and was affordable.

The Google Daydream headset is by far the best mobile VR I've ever tried. The apps and platform are always expanding and getting better! Use with a Bluetooth headset to completely emerse yourself in a virtual world! Only downside is phone gets a little warm after a while, so you just have to give it a rest for a few minutes.

Overall, I really like the daydream. It is comfortable, emersive, and easy to use. Some drawbacks are limited apps in playstore and resolution when watching movies on Pixel XL.

I am pleasantly surprised by how functional this VR goggle is. With a hand-held wand/remote, you can also interact with your scenery. And the price for entry into the VR world is low. Of course, you need a Google Pixel (compatible phones are few if any). If you have Pixel, this is worth getting.

Best VR headset on the market. Almost nearly HALF the price of the next decent offering. If your phone is new enough to support Daydream, you should get this!

Pros: Inexpensive entry point for trying out VR - at this price, the Pros vastly outweigh the Cons Fun and exciting to use Easy and intuitive user experience Google streetview is currently my favorite app Easily fits over glasses Cons: Works only with Google pixel. Limited field of view. You're looking at the world through a large rectangular window - this is probably the case for all phone based VR systems You can see the pixels, which is fine for gaming and exploring, but not OK for watching youtube or Netflix Makes you a little queasy after a while

I was only really expecting this to be a more comfortable google cardboard but i was pleasantly surprised that, along with my new Pixel XL, this is actually a lot closer to the more expensive VR headsets then I had anticipated. There are some key things this does not have such as positional tracking and the fact that its FOV is smaller then all the other major VR headsets. But ignoring those two factors, the image quality with the Pixel XL is really good, with some screen-door but still quite acceptable. The real superstar is the remote control, this is what turns this into a complete VR experience and give you the control needed to play game and navigate menus. It is very responsive and it feels nice to use. It is of course not as sophisticated as say the Vive controllers, but for an 80 dollar package you can't go wrong here.

OK, yes its just a normal VR that you use your own phone with, and as anyone that has used one of these before knows it is only as good as the program you use on your phone and how good is your phone? Of course this is a Google VR and the phone we used is the new Google Pixel, so they went together perfectly, and using one of their sets was like being inside of a Theater, it was truly awesome. My son has tested some of the new VR's in Bestbuy and even though he of course prefers those you have to have a special video card on your PC to use one of them (which we have now bought), and then those are the better of these types , but this one for the price using your own phone is truly an experience to see and will start to get you used to what is to come... GET ready, VR is coming and it will be in all future game systems, it is Awesome...

You can't go wrong with the Google Daydream View. Specially designed for Google Pixel and Moto Z phones, much better VR experience than the generic branded VR which only uses the Google Cardboard techs. Controller is a big improvement, too.
