We bought these as a Christmas gift for our son to go with his Google pixel xl...Let me say these did not disappoint in anyway. The fact that it has a remote to use instead of side buttons like the Samsung version is so much better. You will not be disappointed with these

There is an awesome video on YouTube of a weather balloon. Watch it and return the headset. To me it is just a novelty. After spending a few minutes I got rather disoriented. I have a swivel chair so keeping my head straight helps. Definitely not something you want to do standing up. Right now apps are rather limited but the YouTube videos are pretty good. I don't get that awesome sensation of wanting to reach out like the TV commercials. I suppose I'll put them back on in a few weeks just to see what's new.

You need to side-load the daydream app and may have performance issues (overheating). But it works as a google cardboard, minus the magnetic switch feature. The quality is where the start is lost. Despite "premium" materials it's not that much more comfortable or easy to size/wear that any other cardboard device. The real value here is the remote/controller and how it stores easily in the lid. If you paid $700ish dollars for a pixel phone, this is a must-have accessory for only $50.

This is fun for the whole family! You can play games together (must download games to phone) or alone. It's fun and something different. The only thing is that is uses battery on the phone pretty quickly and the phone gets rather warm.

Bought this to pair with my Google Pixel. Very easy to set up, I had my family members try it out with the 360 videos on youtube and everyone loved it. If you have a daydream capable phone, I recommend this. Especially for the price.

If you already have a Pixel device, it's a great add-on at this price point to dive into VR without breaking the bank.

I would recommend this VR headset to someone with a Google phone. It's comfortable and the controller is easy to use.

The number of apps and content for DayDream is growing rapidly. The apps, Within and Fulldive, are especially rich portals to lots of content. I dinged the rating one star because for my phone ZTE Axon 7, the viewer's loop latch falls on the on/off button; I fixed this problem by constructing a curved plastic cover. Watching Google Movies on the "big screen" is also great.

Got this for my boyfriend since he wanted to try a VR but not spend too much money. He LOVES it and all the new games updating all the time. Him shares it with his daughter and it great seeing them both enjoy something

The battery burns up fast when using VR. It gets hot in the viewer.

Used Google Cardboard in the past. This Daydream VR is fun and comfortable to wear. If like virtual reality this is a great device to start off with Make sure your phone can run Daydream before getting it.

Bought this for my adult son for his birthday after he got the phone. He really enjoys it. Shortly after they got it they moved and they took a panoramic view of their nursery so that they could remember the baby's room. You can now recall that video and walk through the baby''s old room. It is really awesome. Interface is a bit glitchy sometimes but pretty good overall. Be careful playing the racing game as you can easily fall over!

Product is great -as advertised and loads of fun - issues is with the phone and is a known issue that you really can only use if 30 min before risking 3rd degree forehead burn - otherwise super cool!

I have used the Rift, Samsung Gear VR, Google Cardboard, and many other VR headsets, but this one is special. The fact you get mobile VR with a great wand controller, all for $70 makes this a no brainer!

Daydream is an ok product. Works as designed, but fails to beat the Samsung Gear VR in available apps and overall VR experience.

If you want to experience VR at an entry level device, then this is it. Nothing can beat it. You tube videos work like a charm. Do not make the mistake of expecting the same quality like Oculus etc.

This VR headset works very well and you don't have to have the kind of phone indicated. You can use an iphone with it as well - you just have to download different apps. My child loves his headset!
