A range issue or wireless interference can affect the connectivity of your doorbell. Sometimes it may pass the connection test during setup, but will struggle to stay connected. Your doorbell may be out of range due to weak signal, and wireless interference can give you trouble connecting Nest products or other wireless devices. It can also cause slow network communications or intermittent disconnections. So your Nest products might continuously disconnect and reconnect, or they may be slow to respond to app control. It paired seamlessly with out Google Home devices. Had to get a C-Wire converter because our furnace was a bit older, but nonetheless, installation was a breeze!

The only negative is I had to add google home to assess settings. The next app does not do much. Have it running a schedule and when we leave the house, it lowers the temperature

The new Nest Thermostat is exclusive to the Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience. Our long term plan is to use the Google Home app as the one place you can control all of your favorite Nest and other smart home devices, as well as Google Assistant. In the near future, we’ll allow users to set up previous Nest devices and have full control in the Home app. Our team is working on bringing full functionality to the Google Home app so all of your Nest devices can be set up and controlled in one place.

Although this one does not feel as substantial or premium, it does everything the pricier version does at 1/3 the cost. I definitely recommend.

Uses regular AAA batteries which make for easy replacement and longevity compared to its more expensive sibling. Simple interface but the control mechanism is different to the more expensive NEST. Integration. Is through Google not nest so can be confusing if you have an older Nest with this one. Its great for the price and the battery swap ability makes it an excellent buy

It didn't work and R wire issue showed up on thermostat unit. Geek sqaud agent mentioned about possible issue with electrical. However same R wire issue was seen 2nd floor also. Clearly its the unit

This nest thermostat gave the room a minor but very well needed facelift. The thermostat works great and is aesthetically pleasing. Loving the smart technology, and able to make adjustments to my thermostat via my smart phone. The refurbished version is perfect, nothing missing, nothing misfiring! Easy to install…Love it!!
