However, the customer service was wonderful in walking me through how I went wrong with my wiring. I really like the look of the thermostat. It's much better than what is in my rental. The top downfall of the thermostat is it has a mind of it own. No matter what setting I have it in. All of a sudden it stop working and when I look at the app it said I'm away from home when I not. "That can be extremely frustrating. However, it's so convenient with the app being able to control everything. I'm happy with my purchase for the most part

They are very eazy to set up and control. All the tools you will need are in the box. The app makes programing super eazy. I like that it is part of the nest ecosystems. Keeps many of your smart home things in one app.

I can set up the temperature from any where. Before COVID, when ever we where out of the house for a long time, we would set the temperature at 78 (summer) and once we were ready to head home, we would adjusted to a more cool temperature for us. The house would be nice and cool by the time we would get home. Also, it was very easy to set up and installed.

Did not use any backings it came with. That’s just my preference for a more sleek look. Screen display is very bright and crystal clear. Had some troubleshooting getting the Wi-Fi connected but at the end got it working and it’s very easy to use now. Very convenient to use it from anywhere in the house or not in the house from the convenience of the app.

I've got temps set for when I leave and get home during the week. Left for vacation recently and forgot to adjust them temp since I'd be away. Whipped out my phone and took care of it. Still trying to figure out how to hook it up to my house humidifier though. I had 2 wires a blue and brown from my thermostat and I'm not sure which one I need to hook up.

Very easy to install and to use.
