There are many WiFi thermostats but this one in my opinion is the best. Not the cheapest but the quality is outstanding. If was made by ex Apple designers so you can expect the packaging and quality of product to be top notch. NEST works with Alexa and SimpliSafe so it is covered by both my other home automation items. Also this is my 2nd one... and plan to keep in the NEST family.

I have two separate systems. AC and a boiler heating system. This thermostat did not work on my AC. The AC would start up then shut off. Had to pay person to install, uninstall and put in old thermostat and couldn’t return the thermostat. This purchase was an expensive mistake

Got this for my parents, and it turns out all the techy features frustrates them more than their old school thermostat. I can see why it’s cool, but maybe not the best gift idea for non-technical people.

Mine failed after a year of use. The warranty is a year. The product is irreparable. Once it falls, your house has no climate control. Nest did not stand behind their product. Better to adjust manually a solid state thermostat, than be in a situation like me. I purchased a new one, to avoid a house freezing over winter night when mine failed. No response from nest from my communication. A wonderful idea. It has to last longer and be more reliable.
