    Best Buy came out to install- granted i had AC prior to them showing up with my old thermostat. Guy installed The Nest- no air comes out. Ask why - he don’t know. So wanted to leave immediately- i say NO! Advised him to put my old thermostat back in as its work fine which he did and guess what NO AIR!! The installer said he don’t know whats the problem and he not an A/C man. I was disappointed & told him to leave my home. Now i am in the freaken Hot house for over four hours until a real air condition installer comes out. The guy had no problem installing my new NEST - costs me money but its in. With that being said i would only used Best Buy for TV setup!! The Nest itself works fine!!

    We love this thermostat so far, having had it about a month. While we are disappointed there are not more configuration options than the are as far as what is shown up close, it is a pretty device that is miles beyond the standard non-smart thermostat.

    Must say that works to perfection, took only a couple of days to sort itself and remember when to lower and raise the temperature. Installation was pretty simple, took about 10 mins, the longer part was making sure the cables were right.

    We love our Nest. It’s great that we can change the temperature from an app on our phone and that we can create schedules. We save money and even get a credit from our utilities for using it
