I love the auto scheduling feature that learns when you're home or away.

I just bought my first home and the electric bill was horrific because I would always forget to turn up the AC before I left the house. So I did some research and found the Nest to be rated the best and BB had a deal going on so I splurged and I have no regrets. The first month of having it saved me $70 on my bill because it tracks your phone. Every time I leave the house it knows and it turns up the AC. When I get home it starts to run its normal schedule. Very convenient. Also, the free Google home mini that came with it can control it. My thermostat is upstairs and we rarely go up there so having the ability to control it via the app or google home mini from downstairs is great. In 3 months time this thermostat should pay for itself and it looks great too. I look forward to the money savings.

Love this thermostat especially in combination with other nest devices.

Gift for my son and daughter-in-law’s new house I need one

I bought the nest thermostat and it worked fine and saved me money on my air conditioning bills for a year. Now it is failing. I keeps setting the temperature back to 60 degrees or 70 degrees all by itself. The outside temperature here in Gilbert is about 65 at night and 91 in the daytime. I thought it was supposed to allow the air conditioner to go up to the set 81 degrees when we are not home and set to 76 when we are home. Overnight and random times during the day it does not allow the temperature to go up but goes down 10 to 15 degrees. I am waiting for my next electric bill. I called and they had me clear all the memory setting. That doesn't work. It started doing it again within 12 hours. I must call again and if They dont send me a new unit for free, I will remove it and send it back. Bust buy costomers I reccomend you wait to buy a nest thermostat until this matter is resolved. My electric bill has ........?

This is great. We have peak hours so it's easy to set the thermostat to accommodate those hours. The nest has helped us save on our energy bill.

It seems like a great product just couldn't get it to work for me.

Great product quick acces does it save $$$ yes either when your home or away.

It’s easy to use like being able to control with my phone. My issue is I haven’t had it a year and now it keeps losing the WiFi connection and shutting down

Takes three wires I only had two so I returned it. Could well have been fine but never installed

Still learning how this thing works. Not satisfied how it is detecting when I am not home, it seems to work some of the time and not others.

Another example of technology making functions more versatile.

Started off with another brand and had so much trouble with set up, switched it for nest and had a much easier time, did have to call support but they were so helpful and friendly and quickly got us up and running.

So far so good. Sometimes the learning can be a little too good.
