    Very impressed with this thermostat so far. Wiring was simple, programming was simple, and so far it has done everything I expected. I would definitely purchase again. I even got itnon sale with energy debates. That helped a lot!

    Not clear yet how to use ECO mode. Sometimes is changing SET temperature by itself. Looking for more functionalities, such as, better protection code, better interface with another thermostat in the same house. Looking also for a better precision in temperature reading!

    The unit charges itself by cycling the a/c in pulses as to not start a full run of the a/c unit. This creates chaos for any dual zone system. You must have a C wire to charge the unit separately. Nest claims they have solutions for this but it’s hardly a solution. Don’t call the customer service number as they are not HVAC techs. Despite the set-up the unit works nice and as intended, do check for local incentives. I only gave it a one star review for the misleading claims of you don’t need a C wire.
