The worst product I have ever had. No customer support, no one to reach since it stopped working. We bought it a year ago and we are so disappointed with it. It stopped working, cannot find any network around it, not the house and not any....we cannot work it from our phones anymore and need to go down or up all the time to change temp. How can it be? Such a defect product? And no one to talk to

Gas furnace seems to be running less, AC will have to wait till spring. Has been online for a month have not received first bill to start comparing energy usage.

The WIFI of theNEST Thermostat is not working. It's been 2 months and I still did not get the replacement of the device which was promised by Google. Case ID 3-3686000036254. In this winter season, the thermostat is such an important device and it is not working for several months. But no response from Google. What a pathetic service!!!

Best Buy installed 2 TVs, Sonos Arc, Refrigerator, W&D, and 3 Nest. As recommended, got the Total Tech Membership. All was great until the Nest were installed (TV and appliance installers were great!
Nest installer Ralph damaged 2 of my 3 units. They are not working, period! We are now waiting until Wed to get the 2 units repaired. 5 days it will be without AC in 66% of my brand new house. My wife and I are very mad!
If you are installing Nest and Ralph shows up, tell him you changed your mind. Trust me. He has no clue what he is doing!

So, buying a smart thermostat is for the convenience of being able to use an app anywhere to control the device. Unfortunately the app is offline more than it is online. On tech support they act like it's a new problem, but if you google this problem, it's all over the place. They cant figure out the problem after many calls and even replacement, just in case it was faulty. Even tech support for my router couldnt solve the problem.
Now I have a 150.00 paperweight.
