I just bought a home in PA and wanted to be able to control my heat to save energy and increase comfort. The so algorithm of the Nest is amazing, after a week of learning I haven’t touched it and I couldn’t be happier. The app works well and the ability to control status from my phone is a winner

Excellent quality with simple installation, just follow the accurate well written instructions. Beautiful design and engineering. "Smart" learning is actually quite amazing. I'd give it five stars, except, I don't like the temperature swings. The thermostat allows room (house) temperature to fluctuate as much as two degrees before cycling on and off. Typically, set at 73 degrees, house temperature will fall down to 71 before heat kicks back on. Too much swing for my liking. All other aspects of product is five stars.

Easy to install and easy to use. Love that we can regulate the temperature from our phone while we’re away from home. And the schedule feature is great, kick in the heat or AC an hour or so before getting home so it’s perfect when we get in after work.

This thing is fantastic! Super easy to set up and has been working without question. I figured I would give it a little bit of time until writing a review, but I would say after a fair bit of use it works great and no complaints at all.

Easy to use, easy to install, saves money. Would recommend to anyone, if you have a screwdriver you can install it.

This thermostat is so nice and you can control it from your phone it is so easy to setup takes about five minutes to setup definitely worth the money.

It’s a simple easy to self install do easy to use gadget that will pay for itself in many ways - my energy company had rebate , my gas company had rebate and it really saves some gas and electricity ( it will most likely pay for itself in 3 months) for most people. It’s like a piece of art.

Was very surprised at how easy this was to install. Nest has really thought this out and invested into designing something that is both easy to install and technologically capable. Features are easy to implement and manage, working seamlessly with Alexa. Liked it so much and both a second one for upstairs!

The Nest thermostat was simple to install, simple to setup and simple to use. After letting it create a schedule automatically and making a few tweaks I notice a 10% savings on my utility bill. It's truly amazing and a huge plus to be able to make adjustments from a smartphone when away from home. You won't be disappointed.

I have been using the Nest learning thermostat for over 1 month and I have the following pros and cons: Pros: Works with DropCam and IFTTT to allow automation of video monitoring and voice control of the Nest Thermostat using Amazon Echo. Cons: I find that the learning did not change once it was set after a week and now if I am using different temps during the day it does not learn anymore. I would definitely buy this again as it works well and makes my home look cool, 21st century AI techy. I've gotten compliments on it already ;)

This is my second nest Thermostat 3rd generation. Nothing but positives things to say about it. Easy to install, works perfectly with google home. Looks great on your wall and it saves you money by creating schedules. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their thermostat.

Can't remember life before installing the Nest. Love how it learns your routine and adjusts temperatures automatically. Added plus is the app so you can control the thermostat while you are away. As soon as we had the Nest up and running, I could feel the difference. Not to mention the savings in our energy bill.

Nest provides you with exact wiring information for your home based on photos you submit to them through the app. Couldn't be easier. The thermostat keeps track of your heating/cooling, and adjusts the set temp depending on whether you're home or not. Integrates easily with other services, such as Amazon Alexa, Insteon, and Hue.

This thermostat is nothing short of amazing! If you can carefully follow the instructions provided in their tutorial video, you don't even have to hire a pro to install it! That part is completely up to you, but they make it simple enough for the average person! Integration, functionality, and communication with the Nest app will probably make you question why you didn't purchase it sooner! Not only is it easy to setup and control, but it begins to program itself after a few days to make those same adjustments that you would likely make at certain times of the day! I would recommend having maybe 1 other person help you during setup as you follow through the tutorial video. If you want to control the temperature of your home from your phone, from your bedroom, your car, or anywhere, this is one of the best investments you can make in your home and save some money in the long run!

app is easy to use, design is appealing, works great. Like the eco mode. It does seem to revert to settings used only once, so not really sure how well it learns. It seems to just get stuck on one time. Wish when you deleted the history of temps nest would ignore those prior levels, but it doesn't seem to.

This is a great smart thermostat and easy to install yourself. It gives me peace of mind to know that I can use the app to check the temperatures in the various heating zones in my house and adjust the temperature settings

This is a very cool and simple thermostat. I bought my first one 2 years ago and it is working well, so well I decided to replace the one upstairs with another Nest. Easy to install and easy to use. I tell my friends and family to get one.

Hardware Very Attractive High Tech, if not Retro pleasing appearance. Hopefully the NEST App needs to be more intuitive like the replaced multiple "3M Radio Thermostats which operated HVAC & schedules easy with no learning curve at all for years. I am Hopeful NEST Software Development will take a peek at this relevant 3M Radio Thermostat defunct software "App No Longer Supported" as my only reason i had to replace existing no longer working multiple 3M Radio Thermostats with internet Access via it’s App. Radio Thermostat App was real easy peasy intuitive for multiple 3M Thermostats, now NEST replaced still trying to figure out scheduling of Multiple NEST of different locations for online control

Very easy to install, U-tube will help if you need it, but the instructions worked well, We have 4 zones and so far have installed them on three of our zones, will get the 4th one next year due to the price. Works great on my android phone. Have given them as gifts to our two grown children for their homes.
