We had a Nest thermostat at our previous home and really liked it. When we bought our new home, it had a Honeywell smart thermostat installed, but we really didn't like the way it worked. We replaced it with a Nest since we knew we liked those. It was very easy to install, even for someone that's not too savvy with electrical. As with all Nest products, it looks great, it integrates seamlessly with our Nest Hub, and heats/cools the house perfectly. These are a bit expensive, but you can regularly find rebates if you check with your state or local utility provider.

This is by far one of the best smart home product I've bought. It's easy to install, easy to use, and it looks great good on the wall. The best part of this equipment is the ease of use with the rotating bezel and how it remembers and adjust to your needs. Also, I like the fact that you can adjust the temperature through the app, if you're away, and through a smart speaker like Alexa or google nest. If you're looking in buying a smart thermostat, I beleieve this would be a good choice to buy since it does everything a regular thermostat does and plus more!

I like the NEST Learning Thermostat so much that I have 5 of them. The primary reason is that (1) it is very easy to use (2) it brands in nicely with the room wall (3) controls remotely with iPad, iPhone, ... (4) very easy to setup scheduling (5) energy saving via smart sensing,,, I did setup all 5 thermostats by myself... however, for those who may not be familiar with the fundamental thermostat theory... it is better to call professional to install. The bottom line - I saved a lot of money on the heating bill!!!

If your reading this you probably know that Nest makes very quality products none more well designed than the thermostat. The thermostat looks Good, saves money, works well, and is now at your finger tips on your smart phone. I use the weather feature For the farsight function to display the outdoor weather with forecast for the day. It really is a smart thermostat that is as easy to use as the iPhone. You'll be happy!!

I've owned a Nest thermostat since the original one came out in what, 2013? 2014? This is probably my 7th Nest thermostat across 4 homes. I bought this in a rush because the battery in my previous one died. First, the good points. It looks good. It works well, when it works. It does what it says. But if you have a problem... Good luck. When Nest was Nest, their support was fantastic. Google's support is atrocious. My last Nest was a month out of warranty, and they would not honor a battery replacement when it spontaneously died - and in my opinion, 13 months is massively premature for an internal rechargeable battery to die. Also, figuring out that was the problem took a few hours in itself. The symptom was that WiFi would simply stop working. Even the Google support rep did not know that this was because the internal battery wasn't charging, and there was no notification that this was the issue on the device, strangely.. I have seen battery warnings before when our power went out, so sorta ridiculous that the firmware couldn't recognize the issue in this instance. Yes, there are battery replacement kits available, and yes, I should have perhaps looked into that - but this died during the first cold snap of the year, and I didn't have time for that. A thermostat isn't an optional "I have two weeks for Google to get their stuff together to get me a refurbished half-price replacement" thing. So I just went and bought a new one. Sigh. That being said, it looks good, I was already in the ecosystem so replacement and installation was a snap, and Google hasn't completely destroyed the experience using the Nest thermostat like it has other products it's acquired. Yet. However, this is the last Google product I will buy. The elimination of Nest accounts and the forced integration into Google Home was annoying enough, as Google Home is NOT ready for prime-time (and Google does not seem to care that people are paying to beta-test their software) and when this goes (and it will), I will take the time to convert away from Nest and Google. I may be forced earlier, the way Google axes product lines randomly and with regular frequency for no reason than their engineers were apparently bored with the project. Nest was good when it was Nest, from engineers coming out of Apple. Nest is not that good now that it's Google. I also say this as an unfortunate owner of Google Wi-Fi (10 pucks across 2 networks.. It sounded good in theory, never again), Android TV, Chromebooks, and Google Home. All of which have never failed to disappoint. Google - you do not understand how to build, sell, or service consumer products, and your constant no-notice discontinuation of products inspires zero confidence as a consumer. Your hands-off approach to service may be fine for a smart speaker, but not something as integral to home living as a thermostat. You need to get out of the smart home business. Maybe with any luck Google will sell off Nest again to someone who knows how to do products. Until then, I only stick with it because I've got so much invested in it.

extremely easy to install and set up. do exactly what i need it to do. but the software is not super easy to set up. and UI is not too clear, normal people will figure it out in 10 mins.

The thermostats are easy to understand and use. The look good on my walls. I particularly enjoy the remote control feature- either from under my warm blankets or from another part of the world. not to mention that they look very pretty on my walls.

I love that once installed you can remotely set the heating or cooling. We use this for our vacation home to adjust the temperature within the house based on when we plan to visit the house or if the house is empty. The only issue I have with this thermostat is the installation. The instructions and guidance on what wires should be connected based on what system you have is designed for a professional installer and not your average home owner. I have three of these thermostats and each thermostat I installed I had problems with. after many hours the first two I was able to figure out and get working. the third one I needed to hire and HVAC professional to figure out. Great product...not easy to install!

Works great! I purchased this to upgrade in my home and save on my electric bill. It has been helpful, was easy to install, and easy to use. I had a Nest thermostat previously as well as a Honeywell smart thermostat and preferred the Nest one overall.

I love this thermostat. From it’s modern and attractive appearance to it’s features and ease if use, you can’t go wrong with this thermostat. Through a simple to use and intuitive app, setup and use is simple. You have several options on how to setup this thermostat to how you want to use it.

The product was open box but had everything in it. It works better than I expected and I hooked it up myself. It has started saving me on electric bills (I think by lowering my winter temp to 65 when I am not home all day). I can also adjust it before I leave work to find my house warm and toasty and it remembers and learns the routines. I would recomend it highly.

I'm giving this 5 stars because it's everything it says it would be: 1) Easy installation (even if you aren't into playing with electricity) 2) Most of the smart thermostats required a C-wire. This one did not. 3) It connected with Alexa and the Nest app with minimal fuss 4) There were great rebates that made it worthwhile (check with your electric company and others) So here's the problem. My family is abusing the heater now. I've always been pretty frugal about when I turn on the heater, but now because it can be done remotely; the heater comes on when they get out of bed, when they go into the shower when they think they might be cold, etc. Normally, the heating would be off during these times. So it works as advertised, but I doubt I'm going to save any money on heating.

It was super easy to replace our old Honeywell programmable thermostat with the nest. The whole thing took about 30 minutes to install and then another 10 minutes to connect with the app. Google even provides a really nice screw driver with assorted tips, so you might not even need any additional tools. Also included is a rectangular wall plate to help cover up larger holes left by your old thermostat, but you can also install without the plate for a cleaner look. The "learning" part is nice, but really, it's just really nice to be able to turn on the AC or heat before we get home or from bed. If you have a Google Home device, you can also tell Google to turn on the AC/heat for you.

I love the perfect look, very easy set up. It's part of the apartment decoration. Very useful, programmable, and the best is the fact that I can control it with Alexa. No need your Phone App or to go walking to the Thermostat if you need to change the temperature.

This is one of the best smart device I have bought. So easy to install and it performs beyond my expectation. I can just use my phone to control the temperature inside my home even if I’m away from home. I can also just tell Alexa to control my Nest. I strongly recommend this product.

The Nest Thermostat has helped save energy at home, easy to install and has a smart learning function that regulate the home temperature. Can be controlled from your cell phone. It has a sleek and modern look. Very good product.

I am using since 6 years and bought 2 thermostats for my sister, it’s work excellent for us and easy to operate also looks fantastic after hooked it on wall . I am using it , ater I suggested to my sister to use this thermostat to control hvac . They all very happy and appriciatected me to get it for them . Bought 2 pieces because they have 2 AC & Heating unit for upstairs and downstairs separate.
