I had to take it back because the thermostat came with a backplate. Also, on each end it comes away from the wall. That didn't look very good. And yes I double checked we were putting it on correctly and we were.

This was a great way to cover that up without having to repair the wall first. Looks really nice with the nest.

It was a little confusing to figure out which screws went where, but I may have accidentally thrown away some instructions.

A little odd that it is comes away from the wall so you can see behind it, sorta defeats the purpose.
