Without any subscription i can still get alerts of anything, go back and watch moments, and save clips

Terrible Battery Life & Doesn't work with Nest App

Google wants to force the google home app with these new products but that's a hard pass for me. The Google Home app is terrible in my opinion. Returning this for a Eufy battery doorbell which comes with a chime and a lot of other features you dont have to pay for like you do with the Nest Aware subscription. Google definitely missed the mark on these new products.

We’re sorry to learn that you had to return your doorbell due to incompatibility with the Nest app and poor battery life. Our teams are working on enabling the ability to setup and control older Nest cameras in the Home app so users will have one app to control all of their devices. We’re also working on bringing full functionality to the Google Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience with other Nest and smart home devices. Also unlike others, with google nest you get up to 3 hours of free cloud!!! I say whaaaat!!
