Good Wifi Extenter

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love that this item has security and even parental controls for my little ones they spend to much time on the internet that i can set up times for them and it will cut it off for their specific devices which i like, this is also secure and safe, I would recommend taking a look at these if you have an google ecosystem in your house this works great for cameras outside of the house

If you want something super simple to get you decent Wi-Fi coverage for larger homes, you’ll probably be okay with these. However, you have to set these up using the Google Home app. Again, if you’re already in the Google ecosystem, that might not be a big deal, but I’m really, really not a fan of the trend that seems to be manufacturers forcing router configuration to be handled on a phone app. The apps are designed for simplicity, not rich features with advanced (not even that advanced) options. I’d like this system a lot more if I could have more control over things like forcing Ethernet backhaul, disabling or splitting wireless bands, DHCP reservations, etc. Overall, it’s fine - but it’s not lightning fast and it’s not very customizable.

Had Range Issues at First - now all good.

Had some range issues but over all once i worked out to place the unit a little further from my Laptop it worked better.,

Open box just as good

I ended up returning the first one because there were just too many issues. The Nest Wifi Pro 6E lacks some of the bells and whistles of the first router, and it's not quite as fast, but it just works. Zero down time so far, and no dropped connections.

Great GUI to view the gateway and access points in the mesh network, along with the devices connected and their frequency. I’d recommend it. It syncs perfect with the Nest Thermostat and has it all in the same app/GUI.
