Gorgeous screen and fast, responsive tablet. gets os updates directly from google, so no waiting around for OEMs to get their act together. it handles everything i can throw at it in terms of apps, games etc. It does get a little hot sometimes though., Going from a LG G tab to the Nexus is quite an experience. The nexus handles all the work I can throw at it and does not get buggy or have any lag. The only thing that will be better than this tablet will be the next gen Nexus tablet.

I used to own an iPad 2, and when I decided it was time to upgrade my tablet my 3 choices were the nexus 9, Samsung tab s and the iPad air 2. I did a lot of research on all them and everyone said how perfect the iPad was but I was intrigued about the nexus 9. When I checked it out at best buy I loved lollipop and it dual front facing speakers. And if was much cheaper, so I decided to give it a shot. I've owned it for 4 months now and I haven't regretted it. It's the perfect size so you can hold it with one hand, it has a beautiful screen, with not too much color saturation. It's lightning fast, and the speakers are amazing! I saw complaints about the build quality but my model was fine, the software touch back didn't give in and no light bleed on mine. I actually like the soft touch it's comfortable in the hand when holding and not so slippery. And since lollipop has received some updates it's gotten better. The battery life is really good, even when playing heavy games it last at least 6-7 hours. And surfing the web on 4.3 aspect ratio has always been good on the iPad and I'm glad htcc did so with this nexus. Overall a great tablet that gets too much negative feedback.

The biggest draw to this tablet was the OS, no extra bloatware. Plenty of power for games, display is awesome for video, games and reading. Also feels good in hand and battery lasts very well. Sound is OK for a small device. Well built. If I could ask for anything it would be a lower price since it is Google branded made by (HTC)

This was my third nexus tablet, and fifth nexus device, so I was pretty sure I knew what to expect. For the most part, I was correct, but the screen is beautiful, and the speakers are GREAT. The processor... it doesn't seem to be really realized yet, to take advantage of the 64-bit architecture, but it's no slouch. Highly recommend the keyboard folio with the tablet, for the keyboard, and different viewing angles. I very much do NOT recommend the HTC - Cover for Nexus 9 Tablets (sku: 1387061), in fact actively discourage the purchase (but that's a different review). The tablet is great though, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice sized tablet and a nice price.

I upgraded from a 1st gen Nexus 7, wow what a difference! I am not a fan of the 4 3 ratio but everything else about this tablet is amazing. Very fast, bright crisp picture, and the HTC Boomsound speakers are fantastic as far as tablet speakers go.

Maybe I'm just unlucky but I've owned 3 Nexus 9 tablets and ALL have light bleed. 2 of them even had dead pixels. I have an M8 phone from HTC and it's a truly premium product. I feel that there's a certain lack of quality / quality control with the Nexus 9 line up. Hmmm. That being said... the product IS nice. Sleek. I'd probably recommend the Nvidia Shield Tablet over this for most people. For me, I wanted the bigger screen.

Works very well screen is very bright. Touch screen is responsive and swype keyboard is awesome. It has maps nfc and the best battery longevity, lasts all day of good usage thanks to Android 5.0. Paired with Chromecast for downloaded movies, Netflix, and the occasional YouTube video.... I love it works great with TV, streams wireless any where in the house with no hiccups at all... Had to get dolphin browser for flash support now it's perfect, if its not doing what you want Google your issue and the answers are out there..most likely it does it! Only wish I bought 32gb version, videos take up room... although you get 15 gb on a cloud free extra.

Pretty tablet, super fast and stock android lollipop. This is a good option for a high end tablet and more with the nvidia K1 cpu

I've used a lot of different android tabs, and if there is one that can stand up to the iPads then this has to be the one. Great build, awesome sound,decent camera, buttery smooth UI, and many more. Kudos to HTC for making an awesome tab. I would recommend this to anyone who wants the best Android experience.

Can't imagine why anyone would want something with less flexibility. I've replaced my Kindle with this, using the Kindle app. I do a lot of reading/researching online and otherwise. This device let's me do it all wherever I am. If you are new to using tablets, keep in mind that it works like a large smart phone (without the 3G/4G aspect) rather than like a laptop.

The tablet is fast and just the right size. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that it is a little on the expensive side for an android tablet. I am not an Apple fan, so as far as an android tablet it is great.

This device is great for work - it is small and portable and yet it has all the apps. etc. needed to do work on the run. It is easy to use and all the programs/apps run quickly.

I like the vanilla Android OS that comes with Nexus. Hopefully it'll get updates as frequently as my Nexus 5 phone.

Great on a deal. Some have said there's a lot of issues with this product but it's actually quite smooth. No build problems for me.

The Nexus 7 wasn't quite big enough for my liking so I love the size of the Nexus 9.
