Everyone knows the camera is great so I won't talk about it. However, this phone was a great talking point due to it's performance issues amd RAM management issues. I have never ever faced these issues tbh, so, there's absolutely no need to panic and bas mouth this great piece of technology. Go ahead and buy it. It's totally worth it!

I bought an open box 3 that said was in Excellent condition, looks brand new & includes all original parts. Upon opening the box and inspecting the phone I found a scratch on the back to the right of the fingerprint sensor. Since it is on the matte finish portion I thought is might rub off, but unfortunately it is too deep. As I prepared to transfer the data from my old phone I realized the Quick Switch Adapter was not in the box, but luckily I still had the adapter from my Pixel 3a that worked fine. I will update review after I get it set up and report back on everything including the condition of the battery. Not off to a good start.

This is the worst phone that i have ever bought!!! The first time i returned it to the store because it wouldn't read my sd card. The second time the phone screen turned green and the phone got super hot I honestly thought that it was going to explode. I am however thankful for the manager at my local Best Buy for helping returned this phone two times and allowing me to get a new one and of course from a different brand.

I like my pixel 3 considering the price I paid. It replaced a Samsung s8 which was about 2 years old. This device is quicker but the Samsung felt higher quality. (more luxurious, and a better screen) I miss Samsung pay a little bit because of the discounts and perks it had but google pay is similar in ease of use. I like having a stock like experience and the photos come out well. I'd recommend this phone but only at a steep discount. (ie more than 50% off)

There are the obvious positive aspects like the camera and speed of the phone. What I don't like is that the screen is a bit too small. I can't get notifications to work for text messages or calls. Battery life is HORRIBLE!!!!!! I always see "low battery" over and over again. Ugh. I previously had a Motorola G6 Play and I never had to worry about the battery. Also, there is no headphone jack. What a nightmare. I use headphones every day and have to remember the dongle or have to keep buying bluetooth headphones. When you use wired headphones you can't charge at the same time with a cable. This phone has caused me too many headaches......

So far this is a great phone. My only complaint was that I was not offered the ability to purchase the extended warranty, which I would have done. I understand the employee I was working with was busy, (I purchased on the note 10 release day.) But I would have liked to purchase it. The phone is really good. The screen is high quality. The design is nice. You'd think the big forehead and chin bars would be annoying, but they're really not. Not battery life is not great. I have to charge this thing a few times a day. This things camera is the best thing about this phone. My snaps are noticeably nicer than on the S9 I had previously. Anyways in summary, great phone. I'd check it the 3a though to see if you really need the 3. Because the 3a is half the price for the same experience. I may got the 3 because at the time of purchase, the 3 was only $50 more than the 3a.

it's been about a month since I bought this phone when it was on sale for $499. I am really happy with this phone so far. So many features and functionality besides having an amazing camera! I compared the camera on this phone with iPhone 11 Max at Best Buy store, and this phone is the clear winner for me hands down. Even in extreme low lighting conditions, this phone takes good pictures given the sensor size on phone cameras. Yet it's simple and easy to use. There's a bit of learning curve, but hey I'm ready to try out new things sometimes. The battery lasts me all day on Battery Saver mode based on my usage, so I can't really complain about that aspect. Overall, a great phone!

Let's just start by saying that the pixel 3 was one of my favorite phones. Great speakers, awesome user interface, and the best camera on a phone. The "Now playing feature" and "call screening" were also features I love. However, the thing about the phone that ultimately made me switch to the OnePlus 7 pro, was the battery life. If would wake up with 100% and by the time I finish breakfast, it'd be already at 90! Even with battery optimization, I would have to charge the phone before the day was over. Honestly, if you can handle the notch on the pixel 3xl, I would say go for the bigger brother.

In 2019, this is still a great Android phone, with a clean software experience, a great camera, precise haptics, and rich stereo speakers. That being said, 90% of what makes this phone great can be found on the cheaper (and newer) Pixel 3A. During the Black Friday/holiday season you can get the Pixel 3A for $300 unlocked which is an absolute steal! Obviously you are missing on a little with the 3A over the 3: there's no water resistance, wireless charging, unlimited original photo uploads or top of the line SD 845 processer. But everything else that matters is still there! The Pixel 3 is great, but I'm going to exchange it for the 3A. The 3 is lacking a headphone jack and has some black smearing issues that just doesn't make it worth it. If you are trying to decide whether or not to buy this over the 3A, think about the features you really need and if they are worth the premium.

Great phone. Very nice camera especially the dual front cameras with built-in "beautification" that reduces your wrinkles and imperfection on the face. Performance is flawlessly smooth as you would expect for a Google phone. Battery life is good but could be better if they had used a larger battery. There is also a trade-off between simplicity and an SD-card, which never exists on a Google phone. Overall a great deal especially that it is on sale now. At the original price I would have given it four stars but I added one extra star since it's on sale for $300 less. Very nice product at the current price point.

While shopping for a new phone, I read a lot of reviews (reputable and otherwise) to try to find a phone that would function well as a phone (not too hard, as most handle this task well) AND that would be a good substitute camera for those times when I either don't have or don't want to deal with carrying a dedicated camera. Shortly after getting the Pixel 3, I put it to the test at a concert. I was overjoyed with the photos! I got amazing shots from normal modes, and even using the zoom produced good shots, unlike my prior cellphone from LG that took truly awful pictures. My next test was to take photos in near-darkness. With almost no light (not pitch-black in the room but there were no lights or light-emitting electronics on in the house, i.e. TVs, etc.), I managed to capture decent photos. Night sight was understandably strained by that test (it's not designed to take photos in almost complete darkness, I don't believe), but it came out like a champ and did better than any other phone or camera has been able to do. A little grainy in almost-complete darkness, but nothing to complain about. In dim lighting, the Night Sight setting is truly amazing, and you wouldn't really know the room was extremely dark/dim when the photo was taken. If only for the camera capabilities, this phone would be well worth the purchase. However, it also handles normal tasks very well. It's quick and responsive, and the ability to "squeeze" to get information from the phone by speech, without having to unlock it (squeeze the sides of the camera and then ask for the location of a restaurant you need, for example), makes this a really great phone. The few cons: Like all technology, this one has its drawbacks. You can't add a memory card, which means that at some point I'm going to have to clear off photos, apps, books, etc. However, Google photos automatic backups are working perfectly so far, so that offsets the "con" a little bit. Still, memory might someday become an issue, and it seems like a silly oversight to omit a memory card slot. I know the Pixel 4 will be released soon, but if you don't feel like spending the money on the "latest and greatest", this is a great phone to consider. I've owned (or jointly owned with my husband) several phones, from iPhones to Samsungs, and from LGs to the short-lived Kodak Ektra. None have won me over so quickly and so completely as this phone. It's so close to perfect that I can't wait to see how amazing the Pixel 4 is, because I'm sure that will be my next phone.

I'm typically a Samsung user. I absolutely love the Samsung Galaxy phones. However, I was looking for a phone with a great camera, without the $1,000 price tag. I found that with this phone. PHENOMENAL front and rear camera. Great battery life. Functions as a standard Android with a few differences that I had to figure out. All around awesome phone, at an even better price.

The phone is really fast when it comes to sherching topics or places, not to mentions the amazing pictures it can take, so far I'm really happy with this purchase I only whish they had an otter box that was compatible with the screen protector for the phone I had to settle for a cheaper cover for the phone that is the only thing I'm not happy about

I have had this phone about 2 weeks now and I like just about everything about it. I was going for the 3XL at first, but then based on feedback I started looking at the 3. The size is perfect for me, even for watching Netflix and such. The phone packs a 5.5 inch display into a very small overall package that can stow in places my old LG G6 could not. I'm really amazed at how thin and light this phone is. Battery life was a concern from reviews, but it is decent -- it lasts easily throughout the day with plenty left over during moderate to heavy use. I love the pure Android -- and I'm looking fwd to getting v10 in a few weeks. If I had to list a negative it would be that the power and volume buttons are on the same side and can get confused. The stereo sound is surprisingly good with the built in speakers. Haven't done a whole lot of pics, but that's where this phone is supposed to shine. The night photo thing is cool though. An all around great phone that I'm happy with.

I needed to upgrade my cell phone and was limited in purchase options for unlocked phones so I decided to try this Google Pixal 3. Wow, love the phone. Easy to use and set up, plus it has a ton of features I had never used like the screen calls. The camera is awesome and takes great video also. Saved $400 through Best Buy and activated it through Verizon on the pre pay plan. Whats not to like.

It's an Android phone as Google meant it to be. Getting all android features and updates earlier than any other phone are the main draw, but the camera is the star by a long shot. Pixel cameras are amazing... I'd usually rather have this than my Canon full-frame digital camera.

The phone overall is a good phone. The only problem I had so far is the fact that you have to plug your headphones through the charger port. And when you convert it to aux from headphones the sound is super low. But other than that it is a solid phone with good camera and software.

The camera is great. I love this phone overall. Battery life is pretty average, I charge it every day. And it gets a little hot if you use too many apps at once. But otherwise nice phone. And the price was unbeatable.
