    I absolutely loved this phone for the first four months or so that I owned it. Then out of the blue, I stopped getting notifications for text messages. Double checked that my settings were correct (they were) and eventually decided to do a factory reset and start over. That fixed the problem ...for a week! And then the notifications stopped again. I don't know if this an issue for Pixel specifically or Android in general (this is my first Android phone after 14 years of iPhone) but I've searched online and can't find a solution. I've now had to switch to a different, CLUNKIER message app. Not happy.

    I ordered the Pixel 4 XL on Christmas eve with an expected delivery date the first week in Jan. It did not arrive and a message says it's delayed. However, it is still being sold to unsuspecting customers as being delivered "FREE Shipping: Get it by..." Checking daily this gets pushed back almost daily. My suggestion is if they don't have it in store don't order it expecting a timely shipment. I have yet to receive my phone. It's been over a month. I will wait as I purchased it also to take advantage of a low rate with Sprint. It's no longer offered.

    I'm still waiting for the phone, it has been around four weeks since they screwed up my last order of the same phone. I wonder if they have the phone. Will update when I actually get the phone.

    I love the Pixel line of phones. I have had a Pixel, Pixel 2 xl, Pixel 3 xl and now I am the proud owner of the Pixel 4 xl. These phones have no bloat software and Google does a great job with updates.
