    A decent phone

A few of the things I love about the Pixel 4 XL is that it's quick, stock android and the 90hz display because it makes browsing through the various apps and internet feel really smooth. Face ID unlocks fast enough but I wish they included a fingerprint scanner for extra security. The battery is only 3,700 mAh, a bit disappointing but with moderate use it gets me through the day without needing to recharge. This phone has it's flaws but I would say that it's a good phone overall.

This phone does have an amazing camera for amateur, quick shoots. I truly was impressed. Also the phone is super simple to navigate, and smooth. However I'm disappointed in the storage space, 64 gigs at this time seems a bit insulting. There's also my issue with battery life, it seems ok now, but I doubt it will last a day in the future. (I could be wrong about that) Overall I do like this phone, it could have been the best, but it remains a competent phone.

The phone is nice in the hands and the camera is easy to use for great pictures, and if you start to mess with the light and exposure settings you can really make the pictures pop. the experience on the software is nice, but losing the fingerprint scanner to unlock some of my go to apps is a rough trade off. In all however, I think once the updates to the 3rd party apps and a few OS updates this phone will be top notch for the two + years.

Great camera as everyone should know by now. Battery life has been fine so far, not sure what all the negatives were about. By the numbers, the battery and ram and both light by today's flagship standards, but like I said, it's been acceptable so far. Only thing I really don't like is the "forehead." But I guess that was a necessary evil. Still, wish they would've figured a better way to hide the soli sensor etc.

I had the pixel XL from 4 years ago, I loved that phone until my battery started to fail. So I upgraded to the P4 with no regrets. I was able to set everything just like I had it on the first pixel. The assistant disappeared for about 2 days from the alarm but showed back up. The Google support team helped at first and then a day later it was back. I love the camera and it's better than the original with more capability. I have no regrets with my purchase. Don't listen to the tech guys this phone is great and the battery last all day and some into the next day. I was looking at the iPhone 11 but couldn't do it. I'm team Android! Glad I got it when it was on sale.

Great phone is fast and does anything the top phones do, might not have the best specs on paper, but the performance doesn't lack anything. Best of Google with stock Android and none of that bloatware, and first chance at updates is great.

I like the phone. I didn't go into getting the Pixel 4 XL expecting big things. I had the original Pixel XL. I like the screen size comparatively. I think the camera is still great. I am sure some updates will happen that will make the phone even better. I definitely recommend.

I love the large screen, and finally, the ease of use. It took about 4 or 5 days to get it set up the way I wanted: 2 Gmail accounts, display call answer options, and setting notification sounds. My husband played with it while we were on a LONG road trip, so it kept him busy while I was driving. I really like the large screen when using Google Maps.

Finally bought a flagship phone for once and well worth it. Transition was easy. Battery life is really good. Runs fast and the camera pics me and my daughter have taken have been great. Details of pics were greatly defined and well received. Probably the biggest reason I bought the phone was the camera. I'm very happy I made this purchase.

With a little learning curve,, I'm happy with this new phone. I replaced a Samsung 7, after 3+ years. It s time for a new phone. Camera is really nice, the night shot is more than surprising. The P4xl screen is just right for me. The display is very sharp, and inputs to the touch screen are fast and clean.

I have always owned Samsung note phones since probably model 3. the new Samsungs have the curved edge glass which to me is very vulnerable to damage. My note 8 was damaged three or four places along the edges so I did not want another phone like that. I like the idea of the raw Android operating system with frequent updates and patches. And without all of the extra nonsense.so far the phone has been fast and responsive The screen is great The camera is great I have really not had any problems with the battery. I got the phone at a good discount so it is a great phone for the price. It is the same size as my note 8 was. I never used the stylus in the note phones anyway. Hopefully this one will hold up well. $1,000 or more for a phone is insane and I'm just not doing it.

I saw a lot of negative reviews but still went ahead with this phone. People obsess about bezels but even with a forehead this phone is gorgeous! I love the Panda White color. The 90 Hz screen is buttery smooth. This is my first experience with stock Android and I can see the benefits. The camera is top notch as always has been said. The battery life is pretty good. I get about 5-6 hours of screen time and it easily lasts me the day. I love the new assistant and continued conversations as well! I just wish the verizon variant supported esim. That would be the only negative. Of course, you cannot unlock bootloader but that is not significant for me. Overall, I would say it is worth the price (after the $400 discount). Would be hard pressed to recommend it at full price however.

To me functionality and versatility are paramount in a device. Among the wide variety of phones available on the market all can make a decent phone call and a reasonable photograph. What distinguishes each from the other is both how well they perform their functions and how convenient they are to use. To me the Motorola Z4 has the greatest versatility and would have been my choice had it been capable of wireless charging. My last phone made me a convert to wireless charging and the feature is essential in my decision to purchase a phone. The Pixel is lacking a headphone jack and does not come with an adapter. Even if it did the more accessories you have to carry around with you to use your device only serves to detract from its convenience. My second issue is the need to swipe away an app to close it. I prefer a button, either physical or electronic, versus swiping because I find it inevitable that an errant movement creates a time wasting procedure to recover the work I inadvertently disappeared.

Great phone. Love the screen. Speakers get loud. Google always nails it with the camera. The battery life has been great for me despite what you may read on the internet. I do wish that Google included headphones in the box.

I upgraded to the Pixel 4 XL from the 2 XL because of technical issues, other then the camera being better there isn't much difference between the two. That being said, it's still a good phone. Battery life could be better though, I only get about half a day with regular useage.

This is the 1st cell phone I've owned. Recommended by our daughter. So far it's been easy to use and learn how to use, with tutorials in the phone. Great pictures with so many options to use! I like the larger screen too, so am glad I purchased the XL.

Most tech reviews do not put this phone on the high end for flagship phones. After doing a lot of testing, I can honestly say it's a great phone despite some short comings. The camera is way better than my wife's iPhone 11. It really is the best camera on the market for phones. The facial recognition is almost too good. The moment it catches your face it unlocks the phone, even when I'm driving and it's on my mount in my car. There are occasional hiccuos in processing from time to time (like any other phone) and some of the Google features do take some time to get used to. For example, there is no back button when using the browser. You have to drag from the left to make the gesture appear and go back. But, like anything else, once you learn it, you fall in love with it. I just wish the phone had more memory because only the 64gb version was available for purchase.

I got the Verizon version of this phone. It took 3 tries to get it 1st was to ship it to my home, Best Buy canceled it they said they could not activate the phone before shipment. Next, was appointment at a local store (during shut down). I show up on time, escorted into the store to my private appointment with Best Buy staff member. He tries to get and activate the phone says no go, try again at a later date. He says it could be a problem with Verizon. I went home from the store and immediately ordered the phone with drive up to pick up at the store. This worked! Got the phone about a week later. I took it home and activated it myself! Price was $300 off retail price with a $54 activation fee due at purchase with 24 payments of $24.99 on my bill each month at 0% interest. No change in my data plan. The hassle of trying 3 times was the one star off!
