I normally rotate between an iOS and Android device very time I upgrade but this time I went from a Note8 to the Pixel5G. I love the base android UI "as is". It's still Android so it's highly customizable but let me start with what got me as the big takeaways. The screen is MUCH smaller than what I'm used to coming from a Note8 but you can more easily manage the phone with one hand. No face unlock but the finger unlock is fast and easy to manipulate. I do miss having an SD Card slot so that's my biggest issue. I haven't noticed a huge battery issue yet but I am working from home so I'm not out and about for hours on end (Thanks COVID). The phone practically disappears in your pocket if you're used to the big old phone screens. This is my first phone with Reverse Charging so I guess it's cool but I don't use wireless earbuds that can really take advantage of it. The baked in Android power saving features are really nice and their isn't a close all apps running option like my Note8 had but I haven't noticed any real issue running lots of apps in the background. I do wish that Google would release an updated higher wattage official charging stand but there are lots of third party options available on the market. I haven't noticed any huge issues with the behind the glass speaker but I'm not an audiophile and the movies and videos that I watch are plenty loud enough for me. Cameras are more than good enough but I'm not an award winning photographer either. This is my first non flagship phone in years but I literally could have bought two Pixel5g's for what I would have paid for the top of the line Samsung or Apple Phone so it's a win for sure.

I returned this item because the phone size and quality not up to my standards seemed not worth a 24 month contract. Small fragile and flimsy feel

My 2nd Pixel, upgraded from Pixel 3. There's no comparison, WAY more advanced features, strong battery life, easy to use especially if you're an Android user. Strongly recommend this phone.

Spent a lot on this phone to have the screen shatter easily. I like it when it's not broke.

Ok So I've never left a bad review until now. This is the most problem filled phone I've ever owned. It freezes, It looses service and has to be turned off and on several times a week to get a network connection, The speaker sounds like the person talking to you is 30 feet from their mic, people have trouble hearing me, dropped calls and so much more. Verizon has reset my phone a couple times to no avail. I've never owned a google phone, my wife loves her Pixel 4. I just don't understand how it can be so so bad. I am an internet director and cant keep service on my new phone. Very very disappointed.
