Great phone so far excellent camera. The battery life is great too.

This is the best camera experience I have ever got from an Android. Superb, Superb photos! I absolutely love this how it's post-processing tools. The Android experience is also very user-friendly, and it was very swift how I was able to transfer data from my old phone. The phone is super fast and customizable and that's what makes it the best

This phone has issues. I’ve been using this phone all day trying to get it set up. The screen has been doing some weird things. It flickers between varying shades of grey when the system dark mode is on and the screen is being touched. I suspect this is due to the adaptive switching of the high refresh rate display constantly going between 60 hz and 120 hz. The only trick I’ve found is to completely turn off the “smooth display” (120 hz) option in settings. This completely defeats the purpose of having a 120 hz capable display. But the flickering is very noticeable and unpleasant. The camera also has some very weird things going on. When switching between cameras it’s lagging badly and the edges of the live camera view are momentarily flashing and turning purple?! Never had such an issue with a new device. And yes, I’ve completely updated the phone to the latest android software/app versions and it’s still exhibiting this behavior. It has literally taken me HOURS to get the phone set to where it should be due to multiple “failed” software updates. I’ve even factory reset the entire device just to make sure it’s not a fluke. To top things off, the phone has been getting very hot this whole time. Not scalding, but hot enough to be uncomfortable to hold without a case on. I believe that at least the particular unit I received is defective, and will definitely be returning for a refund. I don’t think I even want to take my chances exchanging. However, If this is indicative of the quality control that Google has on their pixel line of devices, you simply might want to consider something else.

Is an amazing phone works great photo quality 100%

Mostly, I have Apple products. However, I always have an Android phone on hand for my UK sim and for app development testing. My old Android died so I decided to give this Pixel 8 a try. At this price $399 it’s a steal! Would I swap my Apple 16 Pro Max for it? No! But, it’s a great phone, and anyone looking for a reasonably-priced phone with flagship features will find all of that here. Also, Google has promised seven years of updates!

Good phone, better battery life than the 7. Still gets warm depending on tasks.

Excellent quality and price. Quick, great screen, worldwide frequencies. Pleb\nty of storage. Highly recommend this phone if looking for reasonably priced, excellent phone with all the bells and whistles. Being able to use it anywhere in the world is great plus.

I really love this phone. It is beautiful, easy to use, a fair price, great display, nice camera. I did expect the camera to be a bit nicer, though. But overall, I'm very happy with this phone.

Extremely fast and great with the Google/Android ecosystem. The only fault I see in this product is that the Gemini AI could be better integrated with the Music/Reminder features that you would have with the standard Google assistant. The camera offers very good, true to world pictures with many options when it comes to taking a picture.

For the price-to-quality ratio, you can't get better than the Google pixel. Always satisfied with this product!

Got a great trqde in deal and coulent be happier. Coming from a pixel 6a and iohones before that, the phone doesnr disappoint. Especially love thr battery life. As one who travels alot its great to not need to reach for the battery bank. Wish there was more 3p support with cases as all the big players go with the pro only.

Its been sometime since I bought the Pixel 8. I waited long enough to have the december patch before posting my review here. This phone is what brings google on the table to compete with the big leagues. It has an amazing dcreen and the cameras take impeccable photos. You cant beat this phone at this price

The Pixel 8 may not be a pocket powerhouse like other phones packing the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC, which Google's Tensor G3 noticably lags behind both in terms of performance and efficiency. But, if you're like me you really don't care about the lack of available processing power. I don't play many games on my phone, and the few I do play aren't that intensive. So, a big powerful processor isn't one of my priorities. And this isn't to say you can't play the newest games on your phone. You might just see a dip in performance when your phone gets alittle to hot. But what the Tensor G3 lacks in general performance it makes up for it by utilizing AI and other software tricks to make your overall smartphone experience better. From custom themes generated to match your wallpapers, screening phone calls for scams, and erasing unwanted subjects from your photos. This phone is smart. And with seven years of software updates promised by Google. You shouldn't have to think about a new phone anytime soon.

I traded my pixel 7 for this new Pixel 8. The pixel 7 was never a good phone in that it had continuous problems with touch sensitivity. However, the pixel 8 is currently a perfect phone. Everything works well. Speakers are nice, they are louder than the pixel 7 and the touch is great on the pixel 8. No complaints here!

I ordered the Pixel 8 and received it the next day through pickup at my work; Walgreens. I got the rose color which is beautiful, I'm already familiar with the pixel series as I upgraded from the Pixel 7a to give to my mom. This is a huge step-up, not the perfect phone but it's very close

The phone I received was defective. It self-restarted almost incessantly. That is probably why the power button didn't work to wake the phone, and the lift to wake worked rarely. I was only able to access the pin lock screen to unlock the phone by waiting until the right moment in the restart cycle. This also ran down the battery really quickly. When I could access functions, the camera is amazing. Love the camera. Would have made the effort to explore more on the phone, but it was too frustrating to deal with being interrupted by the phone restarting. Returned and repurchased elsewhere.
