My Pixel 5A finally gave up the ghost. This phone has been a great upgrade. I miss the finger sensor on the back but the screen and face unlock on this one does great. The battery is a little less than the 5A but still does a good job lasting through the day. And I love the blue color of the phone. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles but great phone for price point.

This phone was okay and it was fast and everything until I had issues where it started overheating and the screen was just freeze up I tried factory resetting it to no avail.

Great camera - upgraded from my 5+ year old phone and feel like I'm living in the future

I acquired it as a replacement for my pixel 6 pro which had a broken screen and had started to behave erratically. Very pleasantly surprised. Only problem is the way the screen unlocks which can take several attempts.

As of my last update in December 2023, Google had not released a model specifically called the "Pixel 8a." They typically release "a" models as more budget-friendly versions of their main series, like the Pixel 6a following the Pixel 6. For the most accurate and updated information about whether a Pixel 8a has been released or announced, it would be best to check Google's official website or recent technology news sources.

Pixel8a is everything that I expected. As a long-term iPhone user, I wanted to experience the latest Android features. I enjoy using native Google Apps. The responsiveness is not premium but it is good enough for the price. Hardware quality is solid. It can be slippery without a case. The font size is a little tricky. The larger font does not display well in some of apps that I use.

Upgraded from a Pixel 3XL to 8a. Continues to work as expected.

Beat phone for the price. All the Google advantages with a decent price point.

Upgraded to this from a pixel 4a, which was necessary as the battery software upgrade made the 4a unusable. Nice phone, can hold easily, even with small hands like mine. Would recommend as a pixel 4a replacement.
