Great earbuds but voice translation not there yet!

The earbuds sound wonderful, they had base, high volume which was nice, they can hold a charge for a good period of time, and avilable in a fun color etc. All posituve reviews but I needed them for translation, Arabic and French. I think this is an AI or software problem. The delay / missed conversation does not play back into your earbuds, you constantly need to look at the screen translation. It did not solve my problem. Like i said, i dont think its the quality of the ear buds but the technology for voice translation has a long way to go. Thus i returned this pair of earbuds.

After 14 months with the Pixel Buds Pro 2, I can confidently say they’re a solid pair of earbuds — but not without some caveats. Day-to-day, they’ve held up really well. The sound quality is rich, the noise cancellation is surprisingly effective (even in noisy environments), and battery life has never let me down. I can easily get through a full day with mixed use — workouts, commutes, video calls — and still have juice left.
That said, one issue has stuck with me since day one: fit during workouts. Without wing tips or extra support, the buds tend to loosen or even fall out during high-intensity movement. I’ve tried all the ear tip sizes included, but nothing quite locks them in when I’m running or lifting. For everyday use — walking, commuting, working — they’re excellent. But at the gym? I find myself constantly adjusting them or leaving them in the case altogether.
On the bright side, the case is compact, pairing with my Pixel is instant, and the touch controls work reliably. Plus, they’ve held up physically — no issues with wear and tear after over a year.
If you mostly want premium earbuds for casual listening, work, or travel — these deliver. Just don’t expect them to be your go-to gym partner without some help in the fit department.

There very comfortable ear buds and the best I've tried as far as it comes too comfortability and sound quality and don't even get me started on the battery. The battery life was amazing

Fan of the transparent mode , active noise cancelling works great. Love the design and fit. But might need to adjust the tips depending on your ears. 100% worth if you have the pixel

These are by far the most comfortable earbuds I've ever owned. The noise cancelling is good but not quite on the level of my old Bose quit comfort ultra earbuds. Battery, sound, and fit are all wonderful.

These definitely sound better than expected. Id say better than the Samsung ones and maybe even apple but it has been a while since I've heard apple airpods. But I had to go back for the Gemini II. Yes way more expensive so may not be worth it for most. But for me, sound comes first. And there is a night and day difference. As for features and battery life, wow! Battery life alone is next to none. I did find that in my ear, I felt a bit a pain after wearing them for over an hour. Eventually my ear seemed to get used to it. Everyone else may not experience this since our ear shapes are different. They are small and not so extrusive like others. So size is perfect. Sound is 8.5 of 10. Wish the volume was a bit louder. Maybe by 2 more clicks. I thought it would be because of the 11mm driver compared to the 10mm for the Gemini II but the Gemini are a bit louder and clearer. Hope this helps!

The Pixel Buds Pro 2 offer an exceptional audio experience, combining impressive sound quality with advanced features. The active noise cancellation effectively blocks out distractions, allowing for an immersive listening experience. The battery life is outstanding, providing hours of use on a single charge, and the quick charge feature is a great addition for on-the-go users.
Comfort is another strong point; they fit securely in the ear without causing fatigue, even during extended wear. The touch controls are intuitive and responsive, making it easy to manage playback and calls. Additionally, the integration with Google Assistant is seamless, enhancing convenience.
Overall, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 are a fantastic choice for anyone looking for premium wireless earbuds that deliver on both performance and comfort. Highly recommended!

I usually love the Samsung brand Bud headphones. But since they have changed the shape in the 3rd generation similar to the apple headphones which I don't like and are very uncomfortable.
I had to give these a try I was pleasantly surprised with the results and I will be adding these to my brand tree.

I love these earbuds! They sync seamlessly with my Pixel 9, and I appreciate the customization features. My only suggestion would be clearer left/right labels; I often get them mixed up. The sound quality is good, and they offer excellent value, especially with the live translate feature.

So these are perfect for pixel and an android ecosystem. The AI integration is superb, this is the niche. I know the once we compare them to are Apple or Samsung earbuds, so in terms sound quality and seamless usage they are the same (I've used all of them). The size, fit and design is way better in my opinion. Just check YouTube, compare them with the other buds you're looking at and keep an eye out for the features, specifically AI you're getting with these and decide. I have a pixel 9 pro so it was an easy decision for me.

Pretty good. Stays in place, comfortable and great features. Noise cancelling is amazing. The live translation is good for 1 on 1 quiet settings but can lag or get confused in a public/group setting. But overall I like em a lot

I work in the entertainment industry as an LD (lighting director) which means our audio techs are consistently trying to deafen me more than I already am! (JK) But in all seriousness, I am subjected to high decibel levels on a daily basis and an irreplaceable part of my show "kit" is my Pixel Buds Pro 2. I am completely sold on these buds! VERY good noise cancelling but the biggest attraction to me is the sheer comfort of these fantastic devices! They, on average, will be in my ears around 6 hours (or more) a day, 4 to 6 days a week, so comfort is non-negotiable! Honestly , I love them so much I bought a second pair just to have as backup in case my primary set gets lost or destroyed.
So would I recommend these? Absolutely without hesitation! Bravo on this Google! Bravo!! Encore??

I bought the original Pixel Buds Pro but had to return them after a few days because they would never stay in my ears after a few minutes. I was really glad when they announced the PBP2 would have stabilizer 'wings', and after using them for a few days I can confirm they absolutely keep the buds in your ears securely. The buds are so small that sometimes I wonder if I'm wearing them correctly, but the Pixel buds app/settings has seal check test that will confirm if they are forming a proper seal. Transparent mode is the best I've used on any earbud or headphone. It feels like you're not wearing them temporarily. ANC is very good. Sound quality is great, especially for podcasts. Highly recommended.

Definetly a significant upgrade from the original buds pro. They are much smaller and fit in ear much better, they are comfortable for long term wear. They are not the loudest, and in some certain situation the noise cancelation can struggle. If you are in the Google ecosystem, especially pixel devices they pair and connect flawlessly.

This is a tough one to review. Between my wife and I we have bought 3 pairs of the original Pixel Buds Pro. I bought these shortly after they came out because my wife lost her pair.
Audio quality wise they are a little bit of a improvement over the original Pros, but the value in this iteration is in the quality-of-life improvements. Primarily the Find-My feature in them.
With the original Pros if you lost the case that was that. You had to locate it the old-fashioned way, but with the Pro 2's you can now locate them the same way you would say a Airtag but not as well. They have Ultra-wideband in them so you can see where you last had them on top of having a small built-in speaker in the case. For most people it would not be used a lot but occasionally. For my wife though, she has a large handbag and they can get lost in the void very easily. so the speaker has come in handy way more then anything else.
They also sit in the ear way better this time around. My wife would have to re-seat the original Pros every hour or so, now they are a set and forget fit. Significant improvement in that regard.
The only issue we have had with these is they seem to have a issue when you call a Pro 2 user where the audio will be very quiet on the first call, but if you hang up and call back they connect properly and the microphone is at the proper volume again.
Overall would very much recommend, especially if you are already in the Google ecosystem.

A great improvement over the last model, I had the Pixel Buds A series first and they fit perfectly with the ear molding, but it didn't have the active noise canceling. Then came the Pixel Buds Pro which had it but not having the ear molding made it hard for it stay in my ears without buying ear foam tips that would keep them in my ears but also keep me connected to my earbuds while in the case.
The pixel buds pro 2 has finally the best features of those 2 models with it staying in my ear without falling out during workouts, active noise cancellation, and also the transparency mode actually lets me hear around me more than the first Pro series.

The noise cancellation is a game changer! Great battery life and paired seemlessly with my pixel 7!

I upgraded from the gen 1 pixel buds, and for me these fit perfectly. The readdition of the silicone wings locks the buds into place similar to the original. The sounds has always been good, but do not forget to utilize the equalizer to get the sound to your taste. The ANC is as good as the gen 1 version if not slightly better, but the transparency mode is where you will see the major upgrade it is on par with the apple airpods. Of course all this is subjective to your personal taste, so pick up a pair and see for yourself you will not regret your purchase especially if you already use a pixel phone.

First let me say that I am not a tech insider and although I am entered to win a 400 dollar gift card that I am pretty certain I will not win, I have not received any incentives for my review. This review is for sound and fit mostly. I have had headphones that range in cost from 20 dollars to 800 dollars. I can tell you that given all of the headphones I own, no two headphones sound the same, some are close but none sound exactly the same. When I purchased these during a BestBuy discount I really did not have high expectations but once I listened to these for the first time I was very impressed. These earbuds have very good noise cancelling and are very comparable to the Bose QC Ultra 2 earbuds which are known for industry best ANC. One of the best qualities of these earbuds are the fit. I don't use them to workout or run but they are easy to insert and I feel like I can wear these for hours on end and they would not bother my inner ear. You really cannot tell that they are in which speaks volumes for the way they fit. Now for the sound. I would not go as far to say that they have the very best bass or very best highs but they have an incredibly balanced sound signature. The bass is not overwhelming but very good and does not sound muffled. The treble or highs sound very clear and from listening to so many different brands of headphones I can tell you that these just sound incredible. Makes you want to listen to the next song and never take them out. I have not tested the battery life but have listened to them for many hours and the battery just never seems to go below 80% so I feel like battery life is very good. I consider myself a connoisseur of sound and these are my number one headphones to listen to at this time. I have not tested the new Samsung buds 4 pro's as they just came out but plan to once they go on sale. I would also like to say that I use an equalizer application called boom3d which I recommend which allows you to fine tune the sound of your headphones. They have a trial period so give it a try. Not receiving any kickbacks for promoting their product either. Just like it and it is available for Mac, Windows, Apple and Android products. These earbuds sound exceptional with our without the boom3d application. The pixel earbud app is good but do not use it to adjust the sound of the earbud, only use it for updates if needed. I want to add that although the headphones costing 800 dollars look very nice and also sound good, I don't feel they were worth the 800 dollars. If a headphone is going to cost 800 dollars then they should sound like 800 dollars and they don't (brand withheld). I have 400 dollar headphones as well as these 170 dollar pixel earbuds that sound much better. Hope this review helps. I don't think you will be disappointed at all by purchasing these Pixel pro earbuds. Also, I tried the Pixel 2a buds and felt that the sound of the Pro model was worth the extra money so I returned the 2a buds.
