The latency issues make these nearly unusable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a Google Pixel 7 and thought these would be a perfect choice to pair with it. The design looked good and I heard good things about the noise cancelling. I opened them today and the set up was easy. They fit nicely in my ears and they were not that big. Then u started watching videos and immediately noticed there was a bit of delay between the video and audio. It wasn't much, but it was noticeable. I looked up the issue and was disappointed to find out that it's a result of them not supporting low latency codecs. I wanted to possibly resign to just accepting that loss and hoping for an update that fixes it. That's when i pulled up a game on my phone. There was a full ONE SECOND DELAY. For being called the "pro" version and being $200, this is just completely unacceptable. I'm returning mine today. If you're just using these for YouTube and for music, you can probably get by, but any other video app, video call, or especially games will almost immediately show their fatal flaw.

Awesome noise cancellation and overall sound

The noise cancellation is amazing, the fit is super comfortable even for extended periods, and the sound quality is top notch. The touch controls and Google Assistant integration are perfect.

Better than Samsung

Since I bought the Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel watch i figured to grab them, they stay in place when wearing motorcycle helmet and they have great bass.

But, Sound quality and noise cancelling is excellent!

Awesome quality, especially for Pixel owners

I own a pixel watch, tablet, and pixel 8 pro. Easy sync between any device. easy to switch between multiple devices as well. The software is also good, between the transparency mode and self check to see if the ear bud sizing is correct. I've got some doofy shaped ear canals but these fit great and the software check went well as well! If they improve on it with pixel buds pro 2 or whatever iteration they make next I will definitely be picking up a pair!

These (with the help of 3rd party tips) fit very well and sound is great, but even better is the noise cancellation. Wireless charging is also a bonus!

They pair very well with the Pixel phone and did so with minimal effort. Definitely an upgrade over the Galaxy buds I was using previously.

Downfall is that they don't stay in place near as good as my old Pixel Bud A Series. Max volume could be just a touch louder when connected to my computer, but with the ANC on, it is not an issue.

Posted .Hi there, BWT2. It's awesome to hear that you like the sound quality and noise cancellation feature of the new Pixel Buds Pro. We do apologize if the volume levels fell short of meeting your expectations.
A poor and uneven fit with either of the earbuds may prevent you from getting the best audio experience. Your Pixel Buds Pro comes pre-attached with medium eartips with extra small and large ear tips that you can try out. Ears are unique so your left ear may be different from your right ear. Try different sizes for each ear to find the best fit. A tight seal gives you better sound, noise cancellation, and mic performance. If you are not getting the audio or call quality you expect, try bigger eartips. To swap eartips, pull the attached eartip off and press the other eartip onto the earbud until you feel a light snap. Gently pull on the eartip to ensure that it's properly attached.
You might also want to check the Custom Equalizer (EQ) feature to further customize the sound quality according to your preference. You can use sliders to adjust five different frequency bands and save your preferred settings. You can also choose one of the presets, like ""Heavy bass"" as a starting point. I was truly expecting them to just be plain and boring but they are really amazing. The fit is nice, the battery life is also great for the price. I think google did great with this product.

I do wish these had less sensitive controls as I found myself accidentally brushing against the buttons while working out, a problem I didn't have with my sony earbuds.
