    Extremely Pleased

So far I have been extremely pleased with my purchase. I was looking for a good solid tablet that would also connect to a keyboard when needed and believe this has hit the spot. Also appreciate being able to connect it to an external monitor when sitting in the office. Was swayed to go with this unit knowing that it is a Google device so updates and features will be available quickly rather than waiting for other manufacturers to implement them. I am satisfied and look forward to the continued optimizations and features Google will add.

Great Media consumption device. One of the best screens that I've ever seen on a device. Great sounding speakers also.

This device is definitely not one of my first choice. I only purchased it because this was on sale. Boy, glad I bought it. I’m all about trying new technology and so it was a good chance for me to try out Chrome OS, that too from Google’s own device. In the beginning I had too many problems with the keyboard and that almost made me want to return the device. I didn’t know if the issue is with the keyboard or the device itself. If it’s not for the price, I would have returned. Once the keyboard issue was resolved with the help from Google support, the device functions smoothly. One of my concerns was whether the processor could hold up. No problems in that area for my media consumption use. Overall, great device for the price and Google support keeps the device going strong.

I rarely need to bring my laptop when I'm traveling since I got this tablet. It does just about everything I need and the screen is nice and clear. I haven't experienced any issues with it being slow, but I don't use it heavily.

Street setting a few harsh reviews in YouTube I was skeptical but needed to lkids for myself. Chrome OS is good a CD will only get better if Google stays at it. Look and build quality is great, pen works wonderfully. No lag on my end. Clean themes and fast processing. Camera could be better and a little dim even when maxed with brightness. Overall a win.

Bought this during the sale bundled with keyboard and pen. I dont use the pen all that much, though it is useful. The keyboard is an absolute must. Don't think I'll ever buy a device again that doesnt have a touchscreen/tablet aspect to it. This is a really great option for those who like Chrome OS. If I were buying again I'd probably spend up for a Microsoft Surface.

There were a lot of people that had issues with the software, in particular it not being as good in tablet mode as they would have liked and glitchy aps but I experienced none of that. It ran both Chrome OS and Android aps smoothly and quickly. Bought mine with the keyboard and I loved it. Round keys were a took about half a day to get used to but then they felt very natural.

love everything about it, speed functionalities, casting, apps and desk top use. If I had to reach for an issue, for the price you'd think it would have a USB port

I am a college student and I wanted the pixel slate for my school and basic media consumption. I was skeptical at first when looking at the earlier reviews but I wanted to try it out to see if for myself. And let me tell you it’s amazing. The screen has great visuals. Chrome OS is perfect for students like me. It is light and slim even with the keyboard added. The pen allows me to illustrate for my visual arts program. It’s overall just amazing.

Google... Pixel... smash them up into a tablet and you can't miss, right? Well mostly. It isn't amazing as a tablet and getting used to Chrome OS is a little trick but overall it performs well. Battery life is very good. I would recommend this to anyone with a Pixel Phone as they do integrate very well together.

This is a great tablet if you know what you are getting into. I wanted something that was a browser first and a tablet second. The fact that this can use the same exact apps that my phone does is just the icing on the cake. This is a fantastic buy if you get it on sale. The keyboard is a must though so I would ensure that you either buy it alongside it or make sure its included as a bundled item. Overall I am very satisfied with this tablet.

I understand this device was discontinued and picked up on christmas vacation as a clearance item 40% off. There was a keyboard and pencil sold separately and that was included with the price. I was not sure about chromebooks, but gave it a try. I have had no problems. My microsoft office 365 lloaded on fine and web browsing/video performance is really good. I really like the long batter life.

I love this tablet. Feels premium, fast great design. I do think it tries to be too much though. It's kind of a laptop with the keyboard. It's kind of a tablet, and it struggles while trying to do both. Great for portable quick things. Not so much for long time computing.

This is an amazing piece of hardware, but it's not for everyone. Chrome OS is fast but something it's not quite there to use it on a tablet. Maybe future updates will bring more features for touch screens devices. Besides that, hardware is great!

It's a beautiful machine that's a joy to use, especially if you can use Linux. Unfortunately, 64GB isn't nearly enough. I wanted to be able to download movies from play store, but no expandable storage. Can't even use external drive. Was so disappointed!

This is an excellent chromebook. I don't use it in tablet mode very much, but it's excellent when connected to a keyboard. I primarily use this for web surfing and streaming content. It's very good for both. However, it doesn't feel powerful enough for multitasking. When I web surf and stream at the same time, I noticed that it struggles. Both streaming and web browsing gets really choppy. The screen is excellent.

Google tried but didn’t succeed on this device. The screen was impressive at first but quickly you realize how “last year” the design with HUGE bezels is. It ages the device which doesn’t often work well in tablet mode. It is quick if you actually continue to use it after the initially “new toy” factor. I purchased one almost a year ago and after about a month put it away and haven’t used it since. Not because I don’t need to work but because I have found a PC is much faster for what I need to do. Really wanted this to be “the” device. Sorry Google - deep permanent price cuts is clear evidence that you missed the mark.
